There’s just something about a tropical oasis that calms the mind and makes us all feel at ease. And if we can’t take a vacation right now, why not bring the destination to us? We’ve got a bunch of fun ideas to share with you today to transform your home into your own ‘enchanted’ tiki room!

Whip Up Some Dole Whip

What kind of Disney-inspired tropical oasis would it be without Dole Whip? A pretty sad one if you ask us!

We understand the hardcore love for Dole Whip. Our readers chose it as their favorite Disney snack in our Snack Madness bracket, and to top it all off, Aloha Isle was voted as our reader’s fave fast food spot in Disney World! You all seriously love your Dole Whip! So why not make it at home? Especially when it’s easier to make than you may think!

Disney recently shared a recipe for Dole Whip but we found it to be less Dole Whip and more a weirdly banana-y thick pineapple smoothie. But there’s still hope, friends! Did you know you can get REAL Dole Whip mix online!?

Sip on Some Tropical Drinks!

It’s time to sip on some sunshine! Many a Disney fan might be conjuring up memories of sipping on a glass of POG juice before hitting the parks. What is POG juice, you ask? Oh, it’s only one of the most delicious fruity beverages you can find at Disney World!

POG Juice pops up all over property under many names, but there are a few places you can always find it: it’s plentiful at the Polynesian Village Resort, where it can accompany your breakfast at ‘Ohana and Kona Cafe (it’s sometimes called liliko’i juice there!). Among other locations, we’ve seen it at Trail’s End at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Campsites for breakfast. It’s actually called ‘Moonshine‘ there! And in Animal Kingdom at Tusker House and Dawa Bar it’s known simply as Jungle Juice!

But it’s all the same tasty drink we know and love! And the ingredients are pretty simple. POG Juice is simply a mixture of passion fruit, orange, and guava juices. Stock up on these ingredients at your local grocery store and presto, you have all the makings of a sweet tropical drink that’s fun for the whole family! All 3 juices should be at most local grocery stores in the refrigerated or stock juiced aisles, but it may take a bit of digging! 

And if you’re looking for a more ‘adult’ version of POG Juice, look no further because you can now grab a pack of Kona Island Brewing Co’s Spiked Seltzer from your local store!

We tried it for ourselves and definitely noticed that signature POG flavor we all know and love!

Stir Up A Tropical Cocktail For The Adults!
