It’s time to show some love to our Mother Earth because it’s Earth Week, friends!
April 22nd is the 50th anniversary of Earth Day and the 25th anniversary of the Disney Conservation Fund. And, Disney is celebrating all week long with a look at Animal Kingdom’s animals, fun activities, and more!
Disney and National Geographic are pairing together to make this year’s Earth Week amazing with Disney Magic of Nature (and we can’t wait to party like the monkeys from Jungle Book). On April 21st, you can start collecting your badges with the Wilderness Explorers at Home video series on My Disney Experience!
A team of Wilderness Explorers will show you how to explore nature right from your own backyard. Maybe we’ll even spot Kevin along the way!!
National Geographic is also giving your family a super fun activity with the Earth Day Neighborhood Safari that will take you to a virtual base camp filled with adventure and daily talks from real-life National Geographic Explorers.
On top of all the documentaries on Disney+, you can watch a daylong marathon of natural history programming and two new television shows for Earth Day, Jane Goodall: The Hope and Born Wild: The Next Generation.
National Geographic will also be showing of images around the world on their Instagram and interviewing National Geographic photographers. Plus, the National Geographic magazine will bring new and engaging articles about our world in celebration of the holiday.
Just in time for Earth Day, Disney Channel is also teaming with National Geographic for short programs about animal care and wildlife conservation efforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
On top of the videos led by Christian J. Simon and Ava Kolker, Disney Channel will have a full day of environmental-themed movies and TV shows for the family to watch. And, if you want more videos and information about Earth Day, you can visit the DisneyNOW app for an Earth Day Collection and Animal Kingdom interviews.
It’s more important than ever to celebrate our big, blue world right now during Earth Week!

Thank you so much for continuing to send out your emails. I look forward to them especially since everything in our world is so turned upside down these days! We visited WDW in January – our second time – and we had a wonderful time! We are from CA, so DL is where our heart is, but we love WDW too!
Thanks so much!
