D23 is honoring Earth Week in a special way this year, and is inviting us all along for the wild celebration!

This Friday, April 24th, D23 will stream Disney Wild Kingdoms: A Conversation with Imagineer Joe Rohde and Disneynature Filmmakers. This virtual event will feature a “conversation on how the natural world and Disney’s rich legacy of conservation continue to inspire and influence a new generation!”

In addition to Joe Rohde (Portfolio Creative Executive, Walt Disney Imagineering), host Kevin Kern from the Walt Disney Archives will join in conversation with Vanessa Berlowitz (Co-director and Producer, Disneynature’s Elephant), Roy Conli (Producer, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Disneynature’s Elephant, Dolphin Reef, and Penguins), and Mark Linfield (Director and Producer, Disneynature’s Elephant).

The talk with explore the impact of Walt Disney’s documentary films as well as “groundbreaking animated depictions of nature,” and the influence of those pieces on the current Disneynature films and Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom park.
