May the 4th — known among the Star Wars fandom as Star Wars Day (“May the 4th Be With You”) — will bring even more Star Wars to Disney+…
Not only will May 4, 2020 deliver the debut of a new documentary series about The Mandalorian and the finale of Star Wars: The Clone Wars… Disney+ has just announced via Twitter that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will also come to the streaming service on Star Wars Day!
The addition of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker means that all nine Star Wars films that come together to form the complete Skywalker Saga will be on Disney+.
Disney+ shares the announcement — coupled with a video — on Twitter:
The complete Skywalker Saga, all in one place. Start streaming all 9 films, including Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, on May the 4th, only on #DisneyPlus. pic.twitter.com/iBpIiwY18U

Disney+ has also shared that, in addition to the new content, “the artistry of Star Wars” will be honored with a “week-long concept art takeover on the service.” Serving as a commemorative gallery of sorts, each film and series artwork will be updated on May the 4th, featuring original concept paintings! And on the Disney+ home screen, the animated Star Wars-brand tile will be updated with a new animation celebrating the hyperspace jump.
And they invite you to remember: “The Force is with you… ALWAYS.”
