“THE FORCE REMAINS STRONG…” That’s the message being presented today — a day known among Star Wars fans as Star Wars Day — by Josh D’Amaro, President of Walt Disney World and Rebecca Campbell, President of Disneyland Resort.
On this May the 4th (“May the 4th Be With You”), both Josh D’Amaro and Rebecca Campbell took to Instagram to share some words of hope and inspiration along with pictures from their visits to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on their respective coasts.
Josh D’Amaro (@joshdamaro) is seen — complete with a blazing blue lightsaber — in front of the Millennium Falcon in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
He also shared this accompanying message: “Even in the quiet of Batuu, the Force remains strong with our Cast as they keep the light burning brightly at Walt Disney World. Please take care of yourselves until we’re able to resume the adventure.”
Rebecca Campbell (@rebeccacampbelldisneyland) shared this picture standing together with essential Cast Members in Disneyland park.
She also shared her gratitude to the Cast Members: “The force is strong with this team. Protecting our resort… keeping the dream alive… and knowing that we will prevail. What can be more Star Wars? Thanks to all of our Cast!”
We’d like to add our thanks to all the Cast of the Disney Parks, as well… May the Force be with you ALL!
