Disney Springs is set to have a pretty big day on May 20th.
That’s because the complex is starting a phased reopening so that third-party restaurants and retail locations can open to the public if they choose. No Disney-owned locations are opening for the time being, but we’ve been compiling a list of all the dining spots that will be. These locations will be implementing new health and safety measures and we’ve got a favorite restaurant of ours to add to the list!
Polite Pig is a beloved barbecue quick-service joint in Disney Springs Town Center that we dig for their southern pig, mac and cheese, and KILLER corn! We reached out to Polite Pig today and they told us that, yes, they will be opening on May 20th.
So, if you’re planning on hanging in Disney Springs on reopening day, you can swing by Polite Pig, starting at 11AM, to “pig” out (Get it?).
While we have only received confirmation from a handful of locations for May 20th, today, we noticed that a much longer list of Disney Springs restaurants have reservations available through My Disney Experience beginning June 1st. We’ll keep reporting in on all of the restaurants that will be open, and you can check out our UPDATED list at the link below!
