Ever since Disney Springs reopened on May 20, we’ve been eating our way around Walt Disney World‘s shopping district.
There are a lot of GREAT places around Disney Springs to get a quick, budget-friendly, and super satisfying bite to eat. In the past few weeks, we’ve eaten at Cookes of Dublin, D-Luxe Burger, Morimoto Asia Street Food, and tons of other spots. And recently, we got to grab a lil lunch at one of Disney Springs’ most POPULAR quick service spots!
Oh yeah, baby!! We’re talking about Chicken Guy!!
Atmosphere
Like other spots around Disney Springs, Chicken Guy! has implemented new health and safety measures upon reopening. When we ate there on opening day, we noticed markers indicating where guests could stand out front. Look at those little chicken feet!!
In addition to a limited number of customers allowed inside at one time, there are also plexiglass shields at each cash register and in front of where the food is made, and single-use paper menus.
And if you’re a refill fan, know the self-serve beverage machine is manned by a server.

Eats
For our quick meal, we chose to get the Big Bite B.L.A.T. For $6.99, you get two chicken tenders, bacon, lettuce, avocado crema, tomatoes, and buttermilk ranch on a bun.
This sandwich is loaded but sooooo darn good. And it’s huge, especially for the price! The bacon is crispy but not too crispy and perfectly smoked. The chicken tenders have a golden crispy coating, but the meat itself is moist, which is a pretty ideal situation.
To go with our chicken sandwich, we got Chicken Guy Fries and American Slaw, each of which cost $2.99.
The star side was the American Slaw. Mayo fans may be disappointed, but we found there wasn’t too much dressing on the slaw, making it taste fresh and crispy.

- You’re not a fan of chicken.
Overall
We’ve been BIG fans of Chicken Guy! since day one, and it’s one of the more affordable dining options at Disney Springs, especially when you consider the size of the portions. Upon Disney Springs’ reopening, we’re pleased that this quick service spot is still as solid as ever. It’s a good option for big families with picky eaters and the adventurous eater who wants to experiment with the 22 different sauces!

I love chicken guy.
But I do have some choice words for the size of their Sauce Containers.
What the French Toast?!?
There’s enough dipping sauce in a container to equal a single packet of ketchup from McDonalds.
That’s almost enough for 1 chicken tender.
And the price for extra sauce is OUTRAGEOUS for the amount you get.
¢.50 for a finger full of sauce 👎.

I was very disappointed only 2 soda machines. There was a line for the drinks. Chicken was super thin piece alot of breading on it. then they charge u for sause very little in containers.. waste of money.
