We’d be lying if we said we weren’t already feeling a little STUFFED after all the delicious snacks we’ve tasted at Disney Springs lately including Starbucks’ new Campfire Cold Brew, Picnic Punch, and the newly reopened Vivoli il Gelato’s Birthday Cake Shake which comes topped with an entire cupcake!
But when we saw Pizza Ponte had added a new item their menu, there’s nothing we couldn’t cram in for you guys!
Were we just at Pizza Ponte reviewing their Pepperoni Pizza (sold as slices the size of your head) as well as their Cannolis, but we were intrigued by their new Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich offering for $9.95!
You won’t find this special item on Pizza Ponte’s permanent menu quite yet, but let’s see if it’s good enough to make the cut! Judging by the looks of this bread alone, we’d say we’re in for a delicious pile of carbs!
The chicken parm itself had a heavier breading than we personally like and the sandwich could have used a bit more sauce since it was a little dry with all that bread! But the seasoning of the breading was really nice and the chicken was moist, juicy, and packed with flavor! We consider ourselves to be chicken parm aficionados and this one was right up there — although not the quite best we’ve ever eaten.
And as we suspected earlier, the bread is the true star of the Chicken Parm Sandwich — I mean, how could it NOT be since it’s freshly baked and has such a gorgeous crust and texture?
We’re hoping the Chicken Parm Sandwich will be sticking around long enough so that you guys will have plenty of time to try it out for yourselves! Swing by and get your Chicken Parm party on at Pizza Ponte next time you visit Disney Springs!
See what else we love to stuff ourselves with silly at Disney Springs here!

Hi DFB, I tried this sandwich at PP and have to say i’m shocked you didn’t mention it has processed chicken versus solid pieces of chicken breast. It was very tasty but this is a major NO, NO for true chicken parm aficionados or any true Italian based restaurant. Am i wrong?
