Disney Springs officially reopened May 20th!
While third-party restaurants and stores originally opened to guests first, Disney-owned locations have also started welcoming guests back. And, that means there is still plenty to do and eat while you’re visiting!
While you’re deciding where you want to go first, we’ve got some tips on the four BEST things you can do in Disney Springs when you’re visiting soon!
Face Coffee
Y’all know that one of the best ways to start your day off with is a cup of Joffrey’s Coffee! And, while that cappuccino or latte may have your name all over it, your coffee can have your FACE on it too!!
When we tried Face Coffee, it quickly became an iconic Disney World sip to put in the books. Although the end product is SUPER cute, it’s also a very easy process, too! Once you’re at Joffrey’s, download and open the Ripples app. You can choose between an existing image like Mickey Mouse OR you can take a selfie to put over the top of your cappuccino or latte (the obvious choice).
After you’ve shown your barista the order number, that fabulous new FACE COFFEE is made especially for you. And, the best part is the baristas don’t even have to guess who it belongs to! 😉
Face Coffee is only 50 cents extra (which we think is TOTALLY worth it). You can also add different flavors for a few cents more if you’re really wanting to shake things up!

Cheese on FIRE!!!
Wine Bar George is one of our favorite places to kick back and relax in Disney Springs. There are amazing sips, like the Froscato, and so much good food that you can try something new each time you go (you guys know how much we love those Mac and Cheese Bites).
But, if you’re looking for some entertainment to pair with your meal, you can get FIRE CHEESE at Wine Bar George! Yes, flaming cheese is automatically one of the best things EVER to see in Disney World according to our rankings. 😉
The Saganaki on Fire is Vlahoriti cheese that your server sprinkles with Metaxa, a Greek liquor, before setting it ablaze. As it’s getting all crispy and delicious on the outside, your server will encourage you to squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.
It comes with a side of crostini to dip in your cheese so you can scoop up all that gooey goodness.
We would go to Wine Bar George just to get the flaming cheese if nothing else! It’s REALLY good. (It helps that their other food and drinks are top-notch too!)

Ride a Disney Attraction
Disney World theme parks might not be opening until July 11th and July 15th, but that doesn’t mean you have to deal with FOMO about Disney attractions!
The Aerophile in Disney Springs is still open for guests to ride! Just like many of the other places in Disney Springs, the Aerophile will be following health and safety precautions for anybody visiting. While you were able to roam around in the balloon before, parties are placed in designated sections that are six feet apart from other guests on-board.
The balloon is also wiped down and cleaned after every flight as an additional precaution. Guests can ride the Aerophile for $20 per adult ages 10 and up, $15 per child ages 3 to 9, and FREE for toddlers two and under.
Guests can ALSO take a trip on a carousel! It may not be Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel in Magic Kingdom, but for $2.50 guests can take a trip around the Marketplace Carousel.
This carousel has reopened daily from 1PM-9PM (weather permitting) and the seats are being wiped down between riders.

It might not be Expedition Everest or Space Mountain — but you can still soar high above Disney Springs or take a whimsical trip on a carousel for a little adventure!

Grab Some Classic Park Snacks
While we miss waving to Mickey and hopping on the Haunted Mansion, we are ESPECIALLY missing all the awesome snacks in the parks (Kakamora Float, we will be reunited soon). But, you can still satisfy your treat-filled cravings since Disney Springs sells some classic snacks!
At the Popcorn and Beverage Carts all around the area, you can grab a Mickey Bar or a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich for a sweet kick to your day.
And, while you’re there, you can also have your popcorn buckets refilled and even purchase the Mickey Birthday Popcorn Bucket while you’re visiting! Who wouldn’t want to have sweet and salty together, back-to-back? 😉
Don’t worry, Dole Whip fans! You can still get your pineapple swirl fix over at the Marketplace Snacks (phew…)!
And, if you’re feeling extra hungry, Sunshine Churros features a BUNCH of flavors of churros that you’re going to want to try! You can snack on Watermelon Churros, Fruity Pebbles Churros, and (of course) regular Cinnamon Churros.
Most recently, Goofy’s Candy Company has reopened!
Now we can grab Disney cupcakes, rice krispie treats, caramel apples, cotton candy, and more!
These things will make your visit to Disney Springs a trip and a half, y’all. We’re considering this our warm-up for the parks reopening next month! Until then, ’tis the time for trying new things now that retail and dining locations are opening up again! 😉
Take a look at these things that everyone has done in Disney World (but nobody talks about)!
