While we’ve been busy becoming masters of Disney World’s new reservation system (check out our tutorial here!), we’ve also been trying to figure out who will have access to park reservations when it goes live on June 22nd.
So far, we’ve been able to confirm guests staying at Disney’s Swan and Dolphin Resort (which is owned by Marriott) will have the same access as guests staying at Disney-owned hotels.
And now theme park reporter Carly Weisel has also found out guests who will be staying at one of the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels (which are privately-owned) will ALSO have the same access to park reservations as Disney World guests!
That following properties are eligible:
If you have booked a room at one of these resorts AND you have valid theme park admission, you’ll be able to make your Disney World park reservation starting on June 22nd. Thanks to Carly Weisel, we also know guests staying at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World will qualify as well.
Keep in mind, many of these properties shut down around the same time as Disney World resorts and some have remained closed. Here are the Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels that are still closed and have yet to release their official reopening dates at this time:
- Best Western Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area
- DoubleTree Suites by Hilton – Disney Springs® Area
- Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace – Disney Springs® Area
- Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs® Area
- Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs® Area
Make sure you check with your resort regarding your upcoming stay and if you have any questions, shoot them out to us in the comments below! We’re doing out best to keep up with all of these details regarding Disney World’s phased reopening, which are coming at us left and RIGHT! Stay tuned for more developments so you can start planning your next Disney World vacay!

Finn says
Do you know if guests at these resorts will get the potential to book tickets if we haven’t already?
DFB Sarah says
Finn, we don’t know this. Here’s Disney’s language on room-only reservations (but we don’t have official word from Disney about the Disney Springs Resorts yet): “If you have a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort or other select hotel for a stay in 2021, please call the Disney Reservation Center or call your travel professional beginning on June 24 to upgrade to a vacation package with tickets—and then make your theme park reservations.”

Any word on whether or not Shades of Green guests will be able to make park reservations on the 22nd?
kraftyKouponer says
Will Shades of green be part if June 22, or the later date for reservation?
DFB Sarah says
Krafty, no confirmation on this yet. I asked the team to look into it.
Emily fieldhouse says
I have a hotel reservation for Wyndham garden lake buena vista and have tickets bought separately. Am I entitled to the park reservation system on Monday 22nd?
Thankyou
Arica D Caskey says
Hi we have Disney hotel reservations in October at Riverside. We do not have tickets as of yet. We qualify for military tickets. Do you have a date when we can purchase are tickets and make reservations? Military or regular tickets?
Thanks Arica
DFB Sarah says
Arica, this information about a room-only reservation might help (though I’m honestly not sure how that works with military tickets — sorry): “If you have a room-only reservation at a Disney Resort or other select hotel for a stay in 2021, please call the Disney Reservation Center or call your travel professional beginning on June 24 to upgrade to a vacation package with tickets—and then make your theme park reservations.” I hope this helps. Thank you for your family’s service.
DFB Sarah says
Emily, we have not confirmed that the Disney Springs Area Resorts are considered part of the June 22 reservations group, but we expect they will be. You might try calling Disney or the hotel to confirm; otherwise, try to make your Disney Park Pass reservation tomorrow.
Dawn Raynor says
What time will the reservation system be available on June 22nd?
DFB Sarah says
Dawn, Disney has not released this information, but we think 7AM.
ROCKFORD ROBLIN says
You did not list Hilton Bonnet Creek as being eligible for park reservations.
