Walt Disney World is gearing up to reopen in just a few weeks!
But just because guests can start staying at select resort hotels and enjoy the theme parks doesn’t mean EVERY Disney travel experience is going to reopen soon.
Earlier today, we learned the Cruise Lines International Association, of which Disney Cruise Line is a part of, will have its ocean-going cruise line members voluntarily extend their suspensions of cruise operations from U.S. ports until September 15th, 2020.
And it seems as though Disney Cruise Line IS, in fact, following those guidelines despite offering deals for mid-summer earlier this week.
In a new announcement, Disney Cruise Line revealed the suspension of departures for the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy through September 15th, 2020.
This announcement follows the cancellation of the Disney Wonder sailings through September 14th and Disney Magic sailings through October 2nd.
Guests booked on affected sailings who have paid their reservation in full will be offered the choice of a 125% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing before March 31, 2022, or or a full refund. Guests who have not paid their reservations in full will automatically receive a refund.
It’s yet to be announced WHEN Disney Cruise Line will officially sail again, but as soon as anything is announced, you know we’ll keep you informed.
