The Disney Park Pass Reservation system will be going live tomorrow on June 22nd at 7 AM EST!
While a number of Disney-owned hotels prepare ready to welcome resort guests back that same day, many guests are looking forward to the moment they are able to step back into the Disney World parks. In order to reduce its capacity, Disney has released its new theme park reservation system as a way to limit the amount of guests in a park at a time.
There will be a limited amount of reservations available for parks when they re-open, and guests will not be able to park-hop. The Disney Park Pass reservations will first be made accessible to guests who have an upcoming stay at the Disney Resorts.
Disney has also announced that Good Neighbor hotels, like the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, Shades of Green Resort, and others will have the same access to the Disney Park Pass system just like other Disney-owned Resort guests.
However, as everyone gets ready to start making their plans tomorrow (Magic Kingdom, here we come!!), we thought it was important to note some of the restrictions surrounding the hotels. According to the Good Neighbor hotels’ websites, they have stated that it may take up to 72 hours to be able to access the Disney Park Pass system and link reservations.
Although it’s unclear at this time how each resort will be handling these reservations, resort guests will still have priority access to the Disney Park Pass system. Annual Passholders without a hotel reservation will not be able to make reservations until June 26th with regular ticket holders following afterwards on June 28th.
So if you’re looking to book a stay at one of these Good Neighbor hotels, keep in mind that you need to give it at least 72 hours in the system before you’ll be able to make those Park Pass ressies! We will continue to give you more details on the Disney Park Pass system as we learn them. And, we will provide you with a first look at the process tomorrow when the system goes live!

My Good Neighbor reservation was confirmed on Friday, I was able to link it this afternoon, and then I was able to immediately make my park reservations! Now let’s hope the next month flies by!

Has anyone successfully linked a Hilton Doubletree Disney Springs reservation to My Disney Experience? Or any of the other Hilton properties at Disney Springs? If so, dId you use the 8 digit Hilton confirmation number? Or did you have to get an alternate confirmation that works with the Disney system? And if so, how did you obtain it? The Hilton Disney Springs properties are closed and it is impossible to get any help. Any info is appreciated!

I’m curious – I was just told by a cast member that Good Neighbor Hotels ARE NOT included to book for the duration of the stay. I was finally able to link my reservation and could make the 3 for my annual pass, but not for the length of my stay.

Leidy, interesting! The info we got from Disney via chat was that the Disney Springs Area Resorts are eligible. We will keep watching for info on this.

Does bonnet creek fit in with these motels?

I believe the term “Good Neighbor Hotel” is being used incorrectly in this article. Hence the confusion. The Bonnet Creek/Disney Springs hotels, which have the benefits of early park booking and up to 14 days of park reservation, are not called “good Neighbor Hotels”, if I understand correctly. I think they are called “Disney Partner Hotels.” I have stayed in a “Good Neighbor Hotel.” It didn’t come with any Disney perks. Basically just a bunch of Disney brochures and ads in the lobby and breakfast area. The list posted by Sarah in the link above is indeed the list of Good Neighbor Hotels, but I don’t believe those hotels have the early access booking privileges like the Disney Partner Hotels in Disney Springs. To see the list of hotels that do have those benefits, you can look at the “Other Great Hotels” section of the WDW official website. I hope this helps! I sure can be confusing.

Thanks, Corinne. I’ve asked the team to revisit this information.
