We’re just a few short weeks away from Disney World’s grand re-opening to guests!
The Disney Park Pass Reservation System has gone live, and the Disney Resorts have started to open across the Disney property. We have lists of attractions that will be reopening as well as restaurants ready to welcome everyone back to the parks, there’s still a lot to consider about how your Disney World vacation is going to change.
In response to some of these changes, the TUI travel agency, which is one of Europe’s most prominent travel and tourism company, will be canceling all U.K. vacations to Florida until December, according to Yahoo! Finance. TUI has made this decision after reviewing Disney World’s new health and safety protocols, like the use of face coverings, temperature screenings, and limited capacity.
The company has stated that these health and safety guidelines would “significantly impact the holiday experience” for guests traveling from the UK. TUI is allowing its customers to delay their Florida vacations until next year, change their destinations entirely, or get a full refund.
TUI has stated that it “commits to only operating holidays where it’s able to guarantee an enjoyable, relaxing and safe holiday without significant changes at their destination.” However, the company will still be hosting vacation packages to eight destinations from Spain to Greece starting July 11th, if travel restrictions allow them to do so.
At this time, the government has encouraged travelers to only take essential trips. However, there may be changes coming soon to the travel industry as regulations are changing as early as next week in the U.K. As Disney World pushes forward with its July 11th and July 15th re-opening dates, we’ll keep you updated on everything new happening in the parks!

Yes, I have a September Orlando holiday booked. With BA though, not TUI. If they are flying, I will definitely be going.
I can see where TUI are coming from, though. I wanted to park hop and the disney dining plan was almost a deal breaker, for me. I had some amazing reservations
We had April reservations and changed them to October. We’ve already been refunded for dining and we will get refunded for park hopper. We were also refunded for Mickeys not so scary Halloween. We still have our reservations at the Riviera. Going to be different
Disney is a massively expensive holiday for us Brits, For a family of 4 to stay in a Disney hotel £8 – £10,000 Including tickets. We had a booking for Sept this year and have pushed it back to next Sept, this has cost us an extra £2000 but we have no meal deals, talk of limited time in parks and only one park a day, limited places to eat, unsafe transatlantic flight with 8 hours wearing a mask, mask wearing in parks, no character meals available, hassle and stress booking park allocations oh, and now we learn, no Disney band when we get to hotel, we have to purchase that too, this is not the Disney experience we deserve for the money we pay. Not a very magical experience. I think Tui have hit the nail on the head and fair play to them, they seem to be looking after they’re customers best interests, were not getting the holiday we signed up for a brave decision I’d say. Well done Tui .
My family were staying 21 days at Riverside with park hopper and dining plan for our 15th annual stay at Disneyworld. Have just rebooked for may at Coronado with 21 day full park hopper. Would not even consider going having to shuffle around in face masks no park hopping and with all the other reductions in the package. £9000 plus to visit a half open Disneyworld is a none starter. We are huge Disney fans and if we lived in Orlando area would be quite willing to have the odd day visit or very short stay even with the restrictions but 21 days would be no real holiday.
