That’s right, it’s almost time for Disney World to get back into the swing of things. When these parks open, many of our favorite table-service locations will be serving guests again. With the added health measures and limits on capacity, Disney suspended new dining reservations and canceled existing ones. Now, dining reservations are coming BACK to the Disney parks!
Guests with valid park admission and Disney Park Pass reservations who had dining reservations between May 28 and September 2, that was canceled during the closure can make dining reservations for select theme park restaurants starting June 30th, for up to 60 days in advance of your arrival.
This date applies to guests who had their dining reservations on or before September 2nd canceled as of May 28th. Disney is sending guests emails with the new reservation information as well. Reservations for all guests will reopen at a later date.
Disney has also shared that eligible guests can book online. If you’re unable to book online, you can call (407) 939-6690 or (800) 800-9800 if you’re a Disney Vacation Club Member.
To make reservations in the theme park, guests must have valid park admission AND a Disney Park Pass reservation for the day of the desired reservation.
As a reminder, all of the Disney World restaurants will not be open with the park initially. You can check in on our list of announced restaurants for the FULL LIST of those restaurants that WILL be open and available for reservations.
Online reservations are currently available for Disney Springs restaurants and guests with hotel arrivals prior to July 10th can make select hotel dining reservations by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 824-1391.
Keep an eye on DFB for the latest updates, and get ready to make those reservations!

So, did I read it right that you have word from Disney that eligible guests will be able to book online *right away at 7:00 am tomorrow* , or just “eventually”? The email from Disney didn’t give details on how to book, and I want to be sure to know whether I should start online or go right for the really long phone queue first thing tomorrow morning… heh heh…
Thanks as always for the invaluable timely information!
Lauren says
Are the reservations done through the app or a new “online tool”? I received the email but nothing in where to make the reservations tomorrow
Cyn says
Do you know when online reservations will be open tomorrow?
DFB Sarah says
Cyn, they haven’t announced the time. Usually phone reservations open at 7AM, but online can be earlier. It looks like the ADRs will be via My Disney Experience (the announcement mentions DisneyWorld.com), but gather a dining reservations number just in case!
DFB Sarah says
Lauren, I would say Disney wasn’t fully clear. They referenced DisneyWorld.com, so we don’t know if that will also include My Disney Experience. And since the earlier Resort ADRs that opened in mid-June were done on the phone, I want to mention that as a possibility, too.
Katie says
I literally just chatted with a cast member who said that all in park dining will be walk up only – no reservations tomorrow. I’m going insane trying to figure all this out!
Jay says
Ugh, this is not good for people who had DVC resort-only stays cancelled, rebooked, with no chance of buying 2020 tickets, which means no park reservations, which means no dining. We can, however, buy 2021 tickets and make park reservations, but this is BEFORE booking our DVC resort, since that can’t be done until 11 months out. I’d like to meet the lucky people who have actually fit all of Disney’s criteria up to this point! Not complaining, just confused and a big bit disappointed at the way this has played out for some of us who have paid out big money to DVC over the years.
Jodi says
Please help me understand what “up to 60 days in advance “ means. I had ADRs for a September trip that were all canceled by Disney. Can I rebook them tomorrow? Or do I have to wait until 60 days before our trip? Thank you.
Carol says
The email I received stated not to use the app. Just to do it online. But there was no specific website listed to use. I wish they had been more specific.
Steven S. in NJ says
Since I’ve reset my trip to October, I’ve calculated my 60-day window to early August so by then, I’m hoping more QSR is available because right now, Be Our Guest is only doing the Price Fix Lunch and Dinner. For $62 pp, I’ll skip it for now.
Mr.John says
Disney let’s go give more info people have to get there vacation plan ‘ s . The park is to big to have a good cleaning spree ! Is it going to be worth i t to go ,it will be up to all vacationers ! 😣
Greg J. Hipius says
I was able to get online at 6:00 AM. I spent about ten minutes in the dreaded “we’re almost in orbit” waiting room page before I got in, but then it went super smoothly, until I got to reservation 11… immediately after making ten reservations (yes, we’re staying a long time), I got no available dining options when searching for any date or time (I tried many)… I tried relogging on from multiple other computers, with the same result. HOWEVER – if anyone else has this experience – I was able to have another one of my party members log on and make our remaining reservations for us. So, whether this is a bug (like we had with the park passes) or a limit on number of reservations the system has in place, if anyone else encounters this problem, it might be helpful to others to try having another party member log in and make additional reservations from their My Disney Experience instead. Good luck, all!
DFB Sarah says
Greg, sorry I wasn’t so timely this time. We started seeing ADRs open online around 6AM today.
DFB Sarah says
Thank you for sharing, Greg!
DFB Sarah says
Jodi, we think that means you’ll need to book at 60 days ahead of your arrival day. You could try today and see if the system allows it, but they are switching to a 60-day ADR policy (like the old Resort FastPass timeframe).
DFB Sarah says
Katie, that’s bizarre. In-Park Table Service dining has been described by Disney as requiring ADRs. Quick Service will be walk-up or MObile Order.
Kathryn says
We had a trip scheduled for June and have a vacation in August. I have spent an hour and 40 minutes on hold and still not able to get through. In spite of the email I got yesterday saying I would have early access, not able to book dining online. 🙁
Rachel says
What if you had reservations after 9/2? Will yo be given some sort of early access as wel for diningl, or are you just 60 days out with no preference? I have yet to hear on this. Anybody else have October reservations get cancelled? Want to be prepared, as it will be my 3rd time trying for dining reservations this year.
DFB Sarah says
Rachel, not sure on this. If Disney clarifies and if/when the ADRs go live, we will update. I would recommend you keep trying, too, in case they open up sooner rather than later.
Sandy says
I am wonder the same thing too, Rachel. We are scheduled to go the end of Oct. We have had our reservations canceled twice. I’m sure hoping we get first go at the reservations!!
Rachel Stephens says
So I saw the new article that reservations are live for everyone 60 days out now. I really hope I am just speaking too soon, but it is looking more and more like disney forgot about everyone who made dining reservations in the fall. 🙁 I tried reacing out to disney last week via the website and have heard nothing there either. I am sure they are a little busy, but it would be nice to not feel left out for not booking during summer, they had free dining didn’t they? Is that the difference?
DFB Sarah says
Rachel, it looks like they just decided to go with the 60 days out. They DID offer a little advance for folks with reservations through September 2 (last week, I think). But otherwise it appears the 60-day window is it.
