A few weeks ago, Disney canceled all upcoming experience reservations in preparation for the reopening of the parks.
Disney announced this morning that those who had dining reservations canceled may make new reservations tomorrow, and now accommodations are being made for those with canceled experience reservations too. Select guests with canceled experience reservations will be able to make reservations for available experiences TOMORROW.Â
According to the Disney World website, those with experience reservations on or before September 2nd that were canceled as of May 28th will be able to make new reservations beginning June 30th for up to 60 days in advance of arrival.
Guests will be able to check availability and potentially book the Capture Your Moment photo experience, Droid Depot, the Fort Wilderness Archery Experience, horseback riding, Wilderness Back Trail Adventure, fishing excursions, and private pool cabanas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
If you had an experience reservation canceled, you can book tomorrow by calling (407) 939-6690 tomorrow. Happy planning!

Does anyone know about annual passholders day..9th or 10th already being booked..I got an email saying I would get an invitation email but I never did but on the Disney site it says that it is already full…when did this happen??

Dawn, the Preview emails went out yesterday morning, and they were full within an hour.

Dawn, I am an AP and, like you, received the first email but not the invitation email. None of my eight friends and family members that also are annual passholders received the invitation email, either. We are all Florida Resident Gold Annual Passholders. I suspect we were omitted from this despite the first email announcing the event. Disney probably shortened the list due to increasing Coronavirus concerns. I’d wondered if they’d cancelled it and still think they may.

Yesterday I spent a total 4.5 hrs on phone with Disney trying book dining reservations at park restaurants. First call I waited 2.25 hrs, spent 15-30 minutes on phone with a wonderfully nice guy, who helped me, BUT when he went to confirm my choices the system didn’t let him. Technical support was going to be another possible hour, but by that time I had so much time invested, I said what the heck. After checking in with me once during this wait, the next thing I knew I was disconnected. Called back about 8pm, listened to music again for 1.5 hrs, but was finally able to get 3 nights dinner booked. I am AP but did not get an email regarding the AP special days. I have hotel booked & rec’d email about dining, but when I tried book online initially, it said I was not eligible. Guess next time I chat with someone, I need make sure they still show me as AP. I absolutely love Disney, but these Blips in their systems are trying even to me!

Donna, it sounds like Murphy’s Law applies to your Disney plans. Hoping it’ll all work out!
