Disney World is reopening, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to get there.
Travel is still significantly hindered and discouraged as a result of the global health crisis, especially when it comes to international travel. The various travel restrictions and bans around the world definitely make it difficult to get to the United States from many countries. Now, we have an update on travel between the United States and the European Union.
According to WESH Orlando, the European Union has announced that it will open its borders to travelers from 14 countries, not including the United States at this time. Travelers from the U.S. will be denied entry for at least another two weeks.
The list of allowed countries will be updated every 14 days to potentially add new countries or remove existing listed countries if necessary. Keep an eye on DFB to learn more about the restrictions on international travel and what they mean for your Disney trip.

Some of us are absolutely devastated by the news and are faced with cancelling a trip that is two years in the planning. 🙁 we are quite happy to follow new rules and guidelines but these travel restrictions are stopping us. 😭
Paul Alter says
I feel very badly for the European guests. Hopefully we in the US will figure out how to get this at least under some degree of control and the restrictions can be removed. I’m not hopeful for the short-term future that this will happen, but I do wish that it does.

Yep Lauren, I am in total agreement with you. We too have spent two years planning and have now been prevented from having our dream holiday/ vacation because of the travel restrictions! I am devastated at the loss at what ‘should, and would have been our holiday of a life time’. Wanting to blame somebody… (but it would’t be Disney) but not sure who too???
