We’re always pumped for new dessert spots in Disney World.
But we may be ESPECIALLY pumped for the opening of the new Gideon’s Bakehouse location in Disney Springs later this year. We can’t wait to get our hands on these high-demand cookies and DELISH-looking cakes. Now, Gideon’s Bakehouse has just announced a new addition to the team, and she’s got some experience under her belt!
Meet Chef Kristy Carlucci! Carlucci has been brought onto the team at Gideon’s to both oversee their existing menu AND introduce new limited and secret menu items at the various Gideon’s locations — including the one coming to Disney Springs.
Carlucci has been a baking a pastry chef staple in Orlando for several years. Her most recent position was as the pastry chef at The Osprey Tavern, but she’s also held positions at The Ravenous Pig and Cask & Larder. Her experience and education from The Culinary Institute of America have seen her grow to bake for celebrities, professional athletes, and political figures. Just last year, Carlucci was inducted into Orlando Magazine’s Dining Awards Hall of Fame.
Carlucci has quite the resume under her belt! We’re so excited about the skills and FLAVORS that she’ll bring to Gideon’s Bakehouse. We can’t wait to give them a try when the new Gideon’s location opens in Disney Springs later this year!
