We’re making our through all the food and drink booths EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival!
Next stop: Refreshment Outpost! We always like to stop by this booth at ALL of EPCOT’s Festivals, so we were extra curious to see how this booth would measure up at this year’s “Taste of Food and Wine.”
Menu and Food
The food is fairly straight-forward American fare. In fact, the only fulfilling meal is the All-Beef Hot Dog with Chips. With so many unique and delicious festival offerings, we personally don’t feel like a hot dog for $9.50 isn’t the best bang for your buck. That is, unless, you’re traveling with picky eaters who only like hot dogs.
While there isn’t much here to munch on, we spotted a few interesting beverage offerings!
Drinks
Other items on the “food” menu are Ice Cream Floats served with any fountain beverage for $5.75, Frozen Slushy made with Coca-Cola or Minute Maid Lemonade for $5.25, and the same frozen slushies served in a Souvenir Spike the Bee Sipper Cup.
Yes, you heard us right! The Spike the Bee Sipper is BACK from the Flower and Garden Festival. For $15.00 you can fill him up with any Coke product you like and pack him around like your new best friend.
You can also pick between The Mango Starr (which was available 4 years ago and has made its way back) made with mango puree and Starr African Rum for $13.75…
…and the NEW Outpost Lemonade made with lemonade and Absolut Vodka for $15.00.
Both of these drinks were super yummy! If we HAD to pick a favorite of the two, however, we would go with the Outpost Lemonade. But you can’t go wrong with either selection!
Refreshment Outpost does have a lot of common beers like Safari Amber Draft ($9.75), Bud Light ($8.00), First Magnitude Brewing Lemon Hefeweizen ($9.75), Old Elephant Foot IPA ($9.75), and Bud Light Seltzer ($8.75).
We might deem this booth as skippable unless you’re a fan of beer and ice cream floats. Although, Spike the Bee is definitely worth visiting! And those two frozen drinks were delightful! We would recommend getting your fill of food and a different booth, and then stop by Refreshment Outpost for a beverage!
