The Liberty Square Riverboat will be closing for refurbishment soon!
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover was recently officially listed as “closed for refurbishment” through October after an extended downtime following the park reopening. And another Magic Kingdom attraction is also scheduled to close for refurbishment soon!
According to the Disney World park calendar, the Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed for refurbishment starting on Monday, August 24th.
But there is some good news — this attraction isn’t scheduled to remain closed for as long as the PeopleMover! The park calendar shows the Liberty Square Riverboat will be closed from August 24th through August 30th, with the attraction currently set to become available again on Monday, August 31st.
The Disney World refurbishment schedule is subject to change, so be sure to keep a close eye on the calendar if you’re heading to the park later this month!
The Cinderella Castle moat has been refilled following the refurbishment!
