AJ, I would respectfully disagree that Disney is not tracking you. In January 2020 my family stayed at the All Star Movies Resort. Upon checking in the room was HORRIBLY dirty. We called the front desk and somehow that led to getting texts from a supervisor. She asked us if they could come clean the room. We agreed since we were leaving to go to Disney Springs.
As we were returning from Disney Springs I started getting text messages like, “They are coming back to the room right now! Have you checked the room???” Took me a while to figure out this was the supervisor who was meaning to text the custodial manager I guess.
Sure enough when we returned to our room at 9:30PM there was a male custodian in our room frantically cleaning. He was freaked out, we were freaked out and I was more than angry.
So somehow that supervisor DID know that we were returning to our room and when. That means they could and did track us. Doesn’t mean Disney is tracking everyone, but obviously they can. Very creepy. And to come back to a room with someone in it I told them was not only unprofessional but dangerous.
In the end we received 3 free FastPasses for each guest for3 days which we appreciated. But I’ve heard this myth a few times that “Disney can’t or isn’t tracking you” and I’m afraid that is a myth.

I’d love it if you had included a write-up of the video. We’re in a slow-internet hole in the middle of America where we can’t watch videos. Thankfully we live in a city and are only visiting here, but my parents have to do without videos like this (and all streaming services and youtube…) at all times, like millions of other rural households. Would love to be able to read what the content was as videos never load or play here!
