If you’ve never had candied bacon on a “clothesline,” then you’ll definitely want to head over to The Edison in Disney Springs for a unique dining experience!
This spot, as well as a few others, recently reopened in Disney Springs, and now we’ve spotted a few menu changes that you should know about before your next trip there.
Lunch
On The Edison’s lunch menu, we spotted a few changes.
- The Fried Calamari used to be served with Spicy Tomato Sauce. The Spicy Tomato Sauce has now been replaced by Marinara Arrabiatta and Sriracha Aioli. This item has also gone up in price from $17 to $19.
- On the Ceasar Salad, the vinaigrette dressing was replaced by classic Ceasar dressing, and the price was increased from $13 to $15.
- While the kids menu used to note that the Fresh Fruit starter featured Melon, Grapes, and Berries, it now only states that it will be a seasonal selection.
- The Triple Chocolate Voltage Cake previously featured Mousse topped with Espresso Ganache, Raspberry Sauce, and Whipped Cream. Now, the dessert has Chocolate Hazelnut cream, Chocolate Crunch, Chocolate Ganache and Raspberry. Sounds delicious!
And some prices were increased:
- The Guacamole and Tortilla Chips have also increased from $16 to $18.
- If you want to enhance your salad, adding chicken will now cost you $7 (up from $5 previously), and adding shrimp is now $9 (was $7 previously).
- The Anchor Steam Beer-battered Fish & Chips has increased in price from $23 to $27.
- The Menlo Park pasta dish is now $20, up from $18.
- The Lollipop Tree has increased from $18 to $20.
A few items were in fact removed:
- Cherry Cheesecake Trifle
- Banana Split
- Old Fashioned Shake
- Gelato and Sherbets (although Gelato remains an option for Kids’ Sweets)
And just one item (in terms of food) was added:
- Spumoni Bomba — Strawberry, Pistachio, Chocolate Gelato coated with Chocolate and Raspberry Sauce Whipped Cream for $13.
Over on the drink menu, quite a few items were removed:
- From the Mocktails list, Elva’s Lemon Elixir
- Gimlet — Stoli Elit Vodka, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup
- Corpse Reviver — Monkey 47 Gin, Cointreau, Lillet Blanc, Lemon Juice, Absinthe Rinse
- Love & A Liar — Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon, Ancho Reyes Poblano, Caol ila Scotch, Cinnamon Coridal, Angostura Bitters
- Smokey Lobos — Mule Montelobos Mezcal, St. Germaine Liqueur, Agave, Grapefruit Juice, Q Ginger Beer
- Reckless Diamond — Maestro Dobel Diamonte Tequila, Lime Juice, Agave
- Leather & Tweed — Knob Creek Bourbon, Branca Menta, Simple Syrup, Caol Ila Scotch
- Bad Miscalculation — Ketel One Botanicals, St. Germaine Liqueur, Soda Water, Cranberries
- Electro Shocker — Pernod Absinthe, Absolut Elix Vodka, Lemon Juice, Blueberry Cordial, Simple Syrup
- JG’s Way — Hendrick’s Gin, St~Germaine Liqueur, Q Tonic Water, Hibiscus Cordial
- 3 Daughters A Wake Coffee Blonde Ale — Florida
- Crooked Stave St. Bretta Citrus Saison — Colorado
- Castello di Mansanto Monrosso Sangiovese, Chianti
A few drinks were changed:
- The Angostura 1919 Rum has been removed from the Mai Tai and overall the drink has increased in price from $14 to $15.
- The Sazerac drink used to have Elijah Craig Bourbon and Lavender Bitters. Now the drink no longer lists the Elijah Craig Bourbon and now features Peychaud’s Bitters instead of the Lavender Bitters. It has also increased from $14 to $17.
- The Electric Mule is now $15, as opposed to the $13 it was previously, and now features Q Ginger Beer as opposed to simply Ginger Beer.
Some items simply saw price increases:
- The Green Electron is now $15, one dollar more than what it was previously
- The Tesla has gone from $14 to $17
- Samantha Sterling is now $16 (previously $14)
- Time Turner is $15 (up from $14)
- The Edison has increased from $14 to $16
- Strawberry Fields Forever has gone from $14 to $15
- The French 75 alcoholic drink increased from $15 to $16.
- The Mocktails, including the Apple Propellant, Amelie, and Smoke & Mirrors are all now $8 (previously $7)
- A Whiskey Sour will now cost you $16, up from the previous price of $13
- The Berry Smash has increased from $14 to $15
- Paloma —Â Casa Noble Tequila, Grapefruit Juice, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup and Club Soda — was increased from $13 to $15
- Stella Artois Pilsner – Belgium is now $12 (up from $10)
- Samuel Adams Boston Lager – Massachusetts increased in price from $9 to $10
- Anchor Brewing Anchor Stea, California Common Lager – California is now $11, as opposed to the $9 it cost previously
- Founders All Day IPA – Michigan went from $8 to $12
- Corona Light Lager – Mexico is now $9 (up from $8)
- Crooked Stave Von Pilsner – Colorado was increased from $9 to $10
- Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizen – Florida is now $10 (up from $9), as is the Elysan Space Dust IPA – Washington, Samuel Adams New England IPA – Massachusetts, and Motorworks Brewing Pulp Friction IPA – Florida
- D9 Brewing Hakuna Matata Troical IPA – North Carolina is now $12 (previously was $11)
- Jester King Biere de Miel Farmhouse Honey Saison – Texas (750mL) went from $39 to $45
- Domaine Chandon Sparkling Rosé, Étoile was increased from $18 to $20
- Erath Pinot Noir Rosé, Oregon was increased from $12 to $13
- Encostas do Lima Vinho Verde Rosé, Portugal went up from $11 to $12
- Chateau Ste. Michelle Eroica Riesling, Columbia Valley is now $14 (was previously $13)
- The Crossings Sauvignon Blanc, New Zealand is now $13 (up from $12)
- The price of the Laguna Chardonnay, Russian River Valley was increased from $15 to $16
- Patina Chardonnay was increased in price from $12 to $13
- Batasiolo Moscato, Italy is now $13 (previously $12)
- Fruili-Venezia Giulia Terlato Pinot Grigio, Italy went from $14 to $16
- Landmark Overlook Pinot Noir, Sonoma is now $16 (up from $15)
- Camp Viejo Grand Reserva Tempranillo, Rioja, Spain is now $16, where it was previously $15
- Silver Totem Cabernet Sauvignon, Washington has been increased from $13 to $14
And some new drinks were added:
- Manhattan West — Knob Creek Rye Edison Signature Barrel, St. George Coffee Liqueur, Orgeat and Walnut Bitters for $18
- Crooked Can – Florida for $10
- Anheuser Busch Bud Light – Missouri at $9
- Leinenkugel’s Seasonal Selection – Wisconsin, but a price is not specified on the online menu
- Destihl Sour Series American Wild Ale – Illinois for $9
- Belleruche Rouge, Domaine M. Chapoutier Rhone Blend, France for $14
Dinner
Over on the dinner menu, there were some more substantial changes.
There were some price increases:
- The DB ‘Clothesline Candied Bacon’Â is now $18, up from $16.
- Guacamole and Tortilla Chips have also increased in price from $16 to $18.
- Electri-Fries are now $16, up from $14.
- To enhance your salad with chicken, the cost is now $7 (up from $5 previously), and adding shrimp is now $9 (was $7 previously).
- The Organic Tomato Soup and Gooey Grilled Cheese has increased in price from $20 to $22.
- The Anchor Steam Beer-battered Fish & Chips has increased in price from $23 to $27.
- The Edison burger is now $25, when it was previously $23. The same price change was also made for the Beyond Burger.
- L. Burbank Hand-cut Fries are now $11 (up from $10), and the Creamy Dreamy Mash is now $10 (up from $9). The Vegetable of the Day side item has also been increased from $9 to $11.
- The Sweets Lollipop Tree has increased from $18 to $20.
A few items were slightly changed:
- The Fried Calamari used to be served with Spicy Tomato Sauce. Similar to the change made on the lunch menu, the Calamari Crisp Rings are now served with Marinara Arrabiatta and Sriracha Aioli. They are also now $19.
- On the Ceasar Salad, the vinaigrette dressing was replaced by classic Ceasar dressing, and the price was increased from $13 to $15.
- On the Chop Salad, the Sesame-Ginger Dressing has been replaced by White Balsamic Dressing, and it is now $16 as opposed to the $15 it cost previously.
- The Barolo Short Rib used to feature asparagus as a side, but that has now been replaced by Glazed Rainbow Carrots, and it now costs $38 (up from $34).
- The Grilled Salmon used to be served with Roasted Butternut Squash, Green Beans, Cranberries, and Smoked Maple Syrup. While the salmon is still on the menu, it is now served with Roasted Corn Succotash and Basilbutter. It was also increased in price from $28 to $31.
- Similar to the lunch menu change, the Triple Chocolate Voltage Cake has had a few ingredients replaced and now has Chocolate Hazelnut cream, Chocolate Crunch, Chocolate Ganache and Raspberry.
- While the kids menu used to note that the Fresh Fruit starter featured Melon, Grapes, and Berries, it now only states that it will be a seasonal selection.

- The Burrata Salad – Burrata, Arugula, Bourbon Candied Walnuts, Dried Cranberries, and Champagne Viniagrette
- Southern Electric Chicken — Crispy Half Chicken, Chive Mashed Potato
- Old-fashioned Meatloaf and Gravy
- Swine and Cheese — Slow-roasted Hand-pulled BBQ Pork Shoulder baked with Cavatappi Pasta, Melted Fontina, Muenster, Cheddar, and Alpine Swiss
- Conductive Mac & Cheese — Our Chef’s daily Mac and Cheese creation that includes Cavatappi Pasta, Melted Fontina, Muenster, Cheddar, and Alpine Swiss
- Asparagus (removed from the sides options)
- Baked Potato (removed from the sides options)
- Diablo Burger
- Portobello Burger
- Menlo Park Baked Mac & Cheese
- Ignite Baked Mac & Cheese
- Oh Bacon — Crispy Maple-Black Pepper Bacon baked with Cavatappi Pasta, Melted Fontina, Muenster, Cheddar, and Alpine Swish
- Cherry Cheesecake Trifle
- Banana Split
- Old Fashioned Shake
- Gelato and Sherbets (although Gelato remains an option for Kids’ Sweets)
And some items or sides have been added or changed:
- The Queen Cut Prime Rib now notes that it comes with your choice of choice of baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, or fries, and the price of the item has increased from $38 to $42.
- You can now order a French Dip and Beef Au Jus — Shaved Prime Rib, Provolone Cheese, Horseradish Cream Sauce for $19.00.
- And there’s the new Spumoni Bomba — Strawberry, Pistachio, Chocolate Gelato coated with Chocolate and Raspberry Sauce Whipped Cream for $13.

I looked at their new menu and was shocked at how few menu items / drink items are on it. It honestly looks like more of a quick service stand than a full-service restaurant. Hopefully, they’ll bring some back.
