Ever looked up at Cinderella Castle and wished you could take a peek inside?
Did you know you can eat at a restaurant located inside of the Castle? Cinderella’s Royal Table is a truly unique dining experience that lets you become royalty for the day. The restaurant has been closed since Magic Kingdom’s reopening, but soon guests will able to dine inside the castle again!
If you really want to live out your very best princess life, then you’ll want to check out Cinderella’s Royal Table. This special table-service restaurant gives you the opportunity to dine inside of Cinderella Castle. Just look at those views over Fantasyland!
Reservations were typically not easy to snag for this location and a meal there could get quite expensive. But, if you managed to get in, you had the chance enjoy a meal with true royalty. Before the closure, this spot was a character dining experience where you got to meet some of your favorite princesses including Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, and more.
The restaurant has been closed since Magic Kingdom reopened, but it will soon be reopening. Today, Disney announced that Cinderella’s Royal Table will be reopening on September 24th!
Guests will be able to dine once again in this enchanted location. Some of the menu items that will be available are roasted chicken breast, tenderloin of beef, and the chef’s fish of the day.
But, there’s one MAJOR change that will be coming to this restaurant when it reopens — the princesses will NOT be there to greet guests! That’s right, much like how Chef Mickey’s has reopened without any of its characters, those dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table will not be able to say hello to their princess friends during their meal. It looks like the princesses will be taking a break from their royal guest-greeting duties for now.
If you want to check out this spot during your next Disney trip, you can make reservations on the Disney website or the My Disney Experience app for Cinderella’s Royal Table beginning September 11th. We’ll keep our eyes open for more Disney World news, and let you know what we find!

Honestly, I don’t get this. The food isn’t actually good, especially considering the price. The only reason to eat there was the characters.
Alice says
We went on the last night of our holiday – my son had requested that this was the last thing we did on our holiday and it was a week prior to the parks closing.
To be honest he didn’t care about the Princesses – I think he was princessed our after 16 nights in Disney. He just wanted to eat dinner in the castle and watch the fireworks through the window from inside the restaurant. We timed it perfectly and when Ariel came along and took a moment to watch with him, I think I nearly cried lol — he was oblivious, he has autism he just wanted to watch the fireworks

I’m ok if they drop the price since they won’t be having nearly the overhead without the princesses. Otherwise I’ll take my family to a signature restaurant with much better food.
Chant says
Will the prices be the same? If not, I wouldn’t recommend it, since you’re basically spending $75 per person to ride in an elevator and eat a pork chop. It’s the character experience that makes it an event.
Brandon says
So I assume they will be Lowering the price just like at Chef Mickey’s?
I mean. Let’s be honest. That what the high price tag is for.
The food is mediocre at best and not worth 2 Table Service credits.
Dreamtripp says
As an adult Disney lover without children, if they drop the prices like they did at Chef Mickey’s, I would do it in a heartbeat. While I know the food is hit or miss, the experience of eating in the castle without all the noise and circus show of the characters sounds much more appealing to me than what they had before. However if the prices stay the same, I would forget about it…

Have there been any updates since this post? Hoping to go Spring 2021.
DFB Sarah says
Terri, not that I know of, but we will report when we hear of any changes.
Maureen Combatti says
This is the final blow with what is happening at Disney. All the dreaming and saving. How do you tell a kid in her Cinderella dress, Cinderella isn’ t home anymore?
DFB Sarah says
Maureen, Cinderella comes out to greet from a distance. You can read our latest review (of breakfast yesterday) here.
