From beer flights to escargot, we’ve tried SO MANY delicious items from the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
But, you can never have enough snack options at Disney. So, we were really excited to hear that more festival booths would be opening soon. Now, we’ve got some more details, that were shared to us by some Cast Members, on which new booths should be coming, and which booths will likely be limiting their operations.
The 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival started on July 15th, when EPCOT first reopened. Since it began, we’ve seen some new booths open up, and other booths temporarily close on certain days. We’ve also been eagerly waiting for some more festival booths that are already constructed in EPCOT to open. Today, we were finally able to get some more details!
Block & Hans is a year-round spot in the America pavilion that features specialty items for the Festival. A Cast Member at this location shared that Block & Hans should only be open on weekends. Since this weekend is Labor Day, the Cast Member shared that the booth’s operations would be extended so they can be open for the whole long weekend. But, the Cast Member said that for most other weeks, they believe it will likely only be open on Saturdays and Sundays, and possibly on Fridays as well.
A Cast Member we spoke to also shared that certain other Festival booths should only be open on weekends. We’ve noticed that the Spain booth, after reopening one weekend, was closed when we returned during the week. A Cast Member shared that this booth should only be open on weekends.
According to the Cast Member, The Alps festival booth and Islands of the Caribbean, both of which we had seen temporarily close on certain days, should also be open only on weekends.
A Cast Member we spoke to also shared that the Flavors from Fire booth should be coming to the Festival. Currently, an unnamed booth is constructed in EPCOT that looks very similar in design to the Flavors from Fire booth from last year, so we’ve anticipated that Flavors from Fire would be returning to the 2020 Festival. According to the Cast Member we spoke to, we may soon be able to eat some delicious treats from the Flavors from Fire booth!
We actually noticed there were social distancing lines already placed near this unopened booth.
The Cast Member also shared that The Donut Box…
…and Cool Wash should be opening soon!
But, the Cast Member wasn’t sure when these booths would be officially opening. The Cast Member also noted that they didn’t know what — if anything — would be going into the area where the Wine and Dine Studio booth was at last year’s Food & Wine Festival.
We’ve spotted an unopened and unnamed booth in that area which looks similar to the structure of the Chocolate Studio from last year, but we’ll definitely be on the lookout for any signage or updates near that spot.
If we find out any more exciting Food & Wine Festival news, we’ll be sure to share that with you! Come back for all the latest updates. Now, if you don’t mind, we’ve got some Food & Wine Merchandise shopping to do!

With all my trips to Disney World since 1973, I’ve NEVER been there during the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. Can’t wait (next month) to visit these food booths. I’m only sorry that many of them will only open on weekends.

After reading the bit about the food and wine festival I contacted Disney to express my disappointment. We are traveling to Disney in the next week or so and getting to experience food and wine festival for the first time. It was very disheartening to find out we may be missing out on some of the full experience if some booths are only open on weekends. Our reservations at DW do not include weekends. I was told by customer service in chat that all booths would be open everyday. Now this has yet to be seen but I truly hope that is the case. We had to reschedule our trip due to covid and were very much looking forward to our first “accidental” Food and Wine festival experience. (I have screen shots of chat )

It looks like only Islands of Caribbean, Alps, Spain, and blocks and Hans are the only ones only open on the weekends. So are all the others open on a Thursday?
DFB Sarah says
Tina, that’s what we’ve seen, yes.
