As each day passes, we get closer and closer to two things: the end of 2020 and the completion of TRON: Lightcycle Run!
This attraction comes with much anticipation and excitement! We’ve been keeping you up to date on the construction process so far and now we have some new aerial photos to show you from @thedisneypilot via Instagram!
Check out this new shot that gives a great comparison of the size of this new coaster to our beloved Space Mountain.
This photo gives us a cool look at just how massive the interior and exterior of TRON: Lightcycle Run really is. Talk about a thrill ride!
They are starting to close in the exterior as well. As you can see, this project still has a long way to go, but construction has been evolving and changing each week. The Cast Members are really pushing forward on this one!
Disney has yet to share an opening date for the attraction and with the construction delays that took place during the closure, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that this attraction is still on track for the 50th anniversary next year.

Does not look like there is much theming taking hold on the building itself. I wonder, does attraction send you out the high end of the rail, make the loop then run along the lower side… which way will it go?
