Cinderella’s Royal Table is one of the most unique dining spots in Walt Disney World because it lets you (literally) dine like a princess IN A CASTLE.
It’s not just about food, though: it’s an experience that every Disney fan should enjoy at least once in their life.
However, Cinderella’s Royal Palace remained closed, even after Disney World reopened. But we just learned that it will be reopening on September 24th and reservations opened TODAY!!
But that reopening will bring some changes. First, princesses won’t be meeting and greeting guests during their meal for the time being (sort of like how Chef Mickey’s won’t have any characters for its meals).
The other change is that the cost of the meal is now cheaper (likely due to the lack of characters). The adult price was $75 plus tax and gratuity, but now it’s $62 plus tax and gratuity. The children’s price was $45, but now is $37 (plus tax and gratuity).
We did note that this includes some menu changes. Breakfast is no longer available, and lunch and dinner have pared-back menus (something we’ve seen a lot of recently). For appetizers, the Seared Scallop is no longer available and has been replaced with a salad.
The Entrees are also missing two menu items: the Seared Pork Rib Chop and the Protein Bowl. However, the desserts are all the same, including The Clock Strikes Twelve (read our review here).
We also spotted some differences in the children’s menu. The Roasted Chicken Leg and Cauliflower Fried Rice are no longer available.
Do note, that these changes are likely temporary, and the character portion of this mean and prices should return to normal at some point. Guests will still have to decide whether its worth it to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table without the princesses and limited menu items, but ultimately, it’s still a chance to dine inside Cinderella’s Castle.
Reservations are now open for Cinderella’s Royal Table. It’s usually a hard reservation to get, so jump on it now! We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any other Disney World restaurant news!

That’s not even 20% off!!! no way is that an adequate discount for no characters.
Liz says
I made a reservation this morning and was still charged $75/person, do you think they will refund the difference?
DFB Sarah says
Liz, I think you’ll want to watch for that and reach out if you don’t see it.
Roz says
Whoop Dee Doo! And that’s a discount ?!!! Prices for food there are absolutely highway robbery. I know that no one makes me eat there ( and I don’t ) but c’mon Disney the food is definitely not worth the price even at 62.00. Bring a sandwich !!!

Do you think they will reopen with characters by November? Heading there for Nov 11th and have a rez not realizing the characters wont be there. Probably not likely, but thought I would ask!
DFB Sarah says
Michele, we don’t know yet, but when we see characters return, we will update.
DebC says
Sam, I just made a reservation today for Nov. I think the price you are charged includes tax and tip.
