We’ve had many delicious snacks on Disney’s BoardWalk recently.

If you’re staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Villas, we hope you’ve been taking advantage of all the yummy treats nearby! After you’ve filled up on all your favorite snacks, what’s better than a nice nap by the pool? Well, if you’re headed for a stay at the BoardWalk in October, the pool area may look a bit different while you’re there.
Although Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is currently closed and will remain closed until further notice, Disney’s BoardWalk Villas are currently open.

Guests of the BoardWalk Villas can enjoy some relaxing resort time over at Luna Park Pool with that very…unique looking slide. Clown warning for those of you who are NOT the biggest fans of this guy. Even though the design at end of the slide may be quite creepy for some, the slide itself adds a lot of fun to the whole pool experience.

If you were hoping to catch a ride on this slide in October, however, you may not be able to. This fall, the Keister Coaster waterslide will be undergoing some refurbishment and will be unavailable for a period of time. Specifically, Disney has noted that they expect the waterslide to be unavailable from October 5th to October 30th. But, those dates are subject to change.

Disney has also stated that work in the pool area will continue through November. While the refurbishment is taking place, Luna Park Pool, as well as 2 leisure pools at Disney’s BoardWalk, will remain open.

So, if this slide was a big reason why you planned an upcoming stay at the BoardWalk, keep in mind that it won’t be available for that time period. So even in November the Luna Park pool won’t be open?
Danielle, it’s currently set for refurbishment through October 30, but that date could get pushed back for any number of reasons. I’m sure we’ll update when it reopens.
Are they changing the look and replacing the clown face?
