If you’re headed to Disney World soon, one of the things that could potentially derail your trip is the availability of Park Pass reservations.
We’ve seen Park Pass reservations filling up for holidays like Halloween, and it looks like reservations for Thanksgiving time are starting to fill up as well. Well, if you wanted to spend Thanksgiving day in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and you don’t already have a Park Pass reservation, you may be in a tough spot.
Since the reopening, Disney World has utilized a Park Pass reservation system to limit guest capacity in the parks and promote social distancing. Under this new system, in order to visit a theme park in Disney World, you must have a valid theme park admission for the park you want to visit on the day you wish to visit as well as a Park Pass reservation for the theme park and day you’ll be visiting.
We’ve seen Park Pass availability change quite a bit over the last few months, and Park Pass reservations have been filling up for major holidays and holiday weekends. Earlier, we shared that Park Pass reservations were filling up quickly for Thanksgiving week.
Today, we spotted another update. Park Pass reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios are currently unavailable for Thanksgiving day — November 26th — for Theme Park Tickets Guests…
…and Disney Resort Guests.
In fact, Park Pass reservations for Disney’s Hollywood Studios appear to be currently unavailable from November 22nd through November 27th for Theme Park Tickets Guests and Disney Resort Guests.
Currently, however, the calendar shows full availability at all four parks for Annual Passholders on Thanksgiving Day.
On November 22nd and 28th, however, Park Passes for Hollywood Studios for Annual Passholders appear to be currently unavailable.
Of course, all of this is subject to change in the future. If you’re looking to go to Disney World during Thanksgiving time, or during any major holiday, we highly recommend you book your Park Passes as soon as possible so you can hopefully get a reservation at the park you’re wanting to visit. We’ve seen Park Pass availability change quite a bit in the past even for holidays, like Labor Day, so we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on the Park Pass availability calendar and we’ll let you know of any major changes.
