We jump at any chance we get to visit Wilderness Lodge to bring you info on updates and changes. On the hottest day in the parks the Wilderness Lodge still feels like a cozy fall day.
There aren’t any big new changes to report but we did notice a few interesting things we wanted to share with you!
Wilderness Lodge Merchandise Update
Mickey Tie Dye Shirts
With so many activities being canceled we were happy to see that you can still tie-dye Mickey t-shirts! For $17 plus tax (room charge or magic band only, no cash at this time) you, or your kids, or both! can tie dye a tee shirt into a Mickey masterpiece!
We didn’t dye a shirt this time so can’t take credit for this great shirt but we can’t wait to see how your designs come out!
Wilderness Lodge Mercantile
Not a ton of new stuff in the Mercantile this visit BUT there was a small display of the new folding fans that are popping up all over. We can not get enough of these fans! They are HUGE and the only thing we want to keep us cool while standing in a queue from now on!
These hand fans are very reasonably priced at $9.99 each, the joy of channeling our inner old-timey movie-star, however, is priceless.
Orange Bird AND Disney Villains! We’re Loving These NEW Fans in Disneyland!
Also going on right now at the Mercantile is a Princess Dress Sale! At select locations, you can find Princess dresses on sale!! Yeah, you read that right, on SALE. You can either pay $59.99 for a single dress, OR you can get TWO for $99.
Right before Halloween is the PERFECT time for a sale like this! And there are SO many options to choose from!

We know these aren’t new but it is hard to let an opportunity pass by without telling you about the Goat Mountain Soap Company products sold here! At $3.95 these lip balms are an inexpensive and hilarious memento of your stay.
And these soaps with ridiculous names smell delicious and make a great gift for pretty much anyone at $7.95 each.
Wilderness Lodge Experience Updates
Reunion Station
As we reported yesterday, Reunion Station at Wilderness Lodge is closed until further notice.
Reunion Station is a special spot near Geyser Point for DVC Members to unwind and relax, or to participate in different educational offerings like cake decorating, wine tasting, culinary events, and even photography classes.
You can read more about the Reunion Station closure here!Â
Boat Dock & Rentals
Also closed during our visit was the Teton Boat Rental Dock. After a quick call to Disney, we were informed that the two-seater watercraft are usually available for short term rentals but the pontoon boats appear to be unavailable as yet. We will keep you posted!
Front Desk Extras
Finally — The Wilderness Lodge is a Disney Resort, and even in these uncertain times, that means little sprinkles of extra magic for guests and visitors. Visitors to the resort can ask for the Hidden Mickey Hunt and set off on a scavenger hunt through the lobby.
And pins are still available! They have them set out with Sharpies which are sanitized between uses.
Nothing new to report for snacks, but we were told that Holiday treats will be coming in October. So we’ll keep an eye out for those!
