UPDATE: The Chefs de France hours have now changed to reflect “No Times Available” from now to October 7th. On October 8th and onward, there are listed times. This new date is still not a guarantee that the restaurant will open, but it could be an indication.Â
Earlier today, Cinderella’s Royal Table surprised guests by reopening a day earlier than previously scheduled.
Could another popular restaurant be preparing to join the ranks of other recently reopened locations in Disney World? Here’s what we know!
Located in the France pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, Chefs de France is a table service restaurant that serves up a variety of French favorites including escargot, French onion soup, creme brulee, and more.
And while Chefs de France is currently still closed, we spotted something that could indicate this location may be welcoming back guests soon. The Disney World website is now showing operating hours for Chefs de France beginning this Friday, September 25th.
Up until this point, Chefs de France has shown there are “no times available,” as have the other restaurants that remain temporarily closed. For comparison, here’s a look at what the site shows for tomorrow.
We have not yet seen a formal announcement of a reopening date for Chefs de France, and it does still show as “temporarily unavailable” on the Disney World website. So, while there isn’t a guarantee that Chefs de France will welcome back guests on Friday, we’ll be keeping a close eye on this location for more updates!

Let me know when WDW is 100% open and all of this pandemic nonsense has fully ended. Then, and only then, will we consider visiting.

We are heading to Disney for Thanksgiving and all 97 restaurants that are current open are booked for dinner on the Monday and Thursday!
Taking that as an indication the parks will be at capacity- or do you think maybe people are double booking and some places will open up?

Rebecca, I would say definitely keep checking. It’s entirely possible that things can open up between now and then.
