Welcome, world travelers, to EPCOT! We swung by the good old Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow to check out everything that’s shiny and new!
Come along with us as we share all the latest construction, food, and merchandise updates!
EPCOT Food Updates
We have a few exciting food updates to bring you from World Showcase! The first bit of news is that the beer cart in Canada has returned! This isn’t brand new to EPCOT, but this is the first time we’re spotting it since the park reopened in July!
The cart offers beverages ranging in price from $8-$11.
Over in the Norway Pavilion, we discovered a fun new twist to our beloved School Bread! This fan-favorite snack now comes with a white chocolate Bruni on top from Frozen 2!
The Frozen franchise has really gotten a stronghold on the Norway Pavilion over the last few years. They’ve even taken over the classic School Bread!
You can grab this coconut-covered delight in the Norway Pavilion for $4.25.
Read MORE about the Bruni School Bread here!
Good news!! While Yorkshire County Fish Shop in the U.K. Pavilion was closed when we visited. It will finally be reopening. But at this time, it will only be open on the weekends.
Keep this in mind if you’re heading to EPCOT on a weekday! If you want your Fish and Chips, you’re going to have to head to Rose and Crown.

Across World Showcase, in the Mexico Pavilion, we learned on our last trip that La Cava del Tequila was temporarily sold out of pineapple juice!
That means that unfortunately, until they restock they cannot serve certain drinks off their menu, including their Pina Loca.
We were told that they hope to be restocked later this week!
EPCOT Construction Updates
There was a new entrance sign…
…as well as an Exit sign…
…and even a new sign for Passholders!
There was also new signage directing guests to various transportation pick-up and drop-off locations.
Heading into EPCOT, we spotted some projects as well as a few operational updates we’d like to share! Heading towards World Showcase, we spotted new construction walls around the splash pad area.
If there’s anything EPCOT has been in dire need of, it’s DEFINITELY more construction walls. 😉 But hey, it’s progress!
We also discovered construction walls up that extend from the end of the Italy Pavilion, all the way to the back of Joffrey’s in the American Adventure Pavilion!
At this moment we are unsure exactly what is under construction, but we will surely keep a close eye on this project!
EPCOT Merchandise Updates
Mouse Gear
Finally, let’s chat merchandise! We spotted a few items that found their way to EPCOT this week that we have already spotted in the other parks. When you’re looking to find those quintessential Disney souvenirs in EPCOT, you need to head over to Mouse Gear!
You may have noticed that Disney World has been relentless when it comes to new Minnie Ears! We spotted the reimagined Blue Polka Dot ears at Mouse Gear on our latest trip!
They’re slightly different than the previous version of the Blue Polka Dot Ears (these ones are more sparkly!).
You can take a closer look at these new ears here!
If you’re looking to be EXTRA fancy, you can pick up another pair of Polka Dot Minnie Ears, this time in a gold and silver variety!
Each pair of Minnie Ears retails for $29.99.

And for your home, you can dine in true Disney style with these placemats! We previously spotted them in Hollywood Studios, and now they have found their way to EPCOT!
The set of four placemats retails for $39.99.
France Pavilion
Over at Les Halles, we found the next addition to your refrigerator! This Remy magnet could offer the perfect inspiration in the kitchen to fulfill all your culinary ambitions!
The magnet retails for $14.99!
Do you think Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will open in 2020? Here’s what our readers thought!
Morocco Pavilion
Also in World Showcase, we discovered a SALE! And who doesn’t love a good sale? We found merchandise in Morocco that was on sale for a whopping 50% off!
It’s not very often you see merchandise discounted that heavily in Disney World. Items that were on sale were this lovely sweater (perfect for those fall evenings) which normally retails for $52.99…
…as well as these bags, which normally cost $49.99!
Swing by Morocco to score some serious savings next time you’re in World Showcase!
American Adventure
Finally, over in the American Adventure, we spotted a new Pressed Penny Machine!
The American Adventure is the latest Pavilion to switch out their coin-operated machines for new credit card machines. Don’t worry, your arms can still get a good work out in as you crank the pressed penny wheel!
Other Pavilions have already switched over to the credit card-style machine, while others still accept coins as a form of payment. So, you’ll still have to carry extra change around with you for now, but soon we can expect to see all of the machine switch over to this new design!
We will be back with new goodies from around the (Disney) World soon, so stay tuned!
