Even Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto like to get a little colorful for Halloween season!

While strolling through Magic Kingdom this morning, a trio of new plushes caught our eye, and it would seem our favorite Disney characters are taking fashion inspiration from The Haunted Mansion this year!
There are a TON of new Halloween toys and snacks in Disney World these days, so it takes something really special to stand out…like a teal Pluto?!
Teal Pluto Plush
The curious color pattern is giving us serious Haunted Mansion vibes, along with the dark purple on Minnie and the dark blue on Mickey! They’d fit right in with the Happy Haunts!
Purple Minnie Plush
Granted, they’re not full-blown Halloween costumes, but the color palette is definitely a VIBE.
Blue Mickey Plush
If you can avert your eyes from the bright teal for a second, you’ll notice that Pluto comes clad with a name tag, while Minnie’s mauve motif has her signature polka dots, and Mickey is looking sharp as always, smartly pairing light blue shorts and shoes over his dark blue plush.

I wonder if this is related to the Teal Pumpkin Project- where having a teal pumpkin signifies that you have allergy-friendly treats. Either way, if it is or isn’t, it’s cute!
Yeah, pretty sure this is an acknowledgement of the Teal Pumpkin Project (https://www.foodallergy.org/our-initiatives/awareness-campaigns/living-teal/teal-pumpkin-project). We’ve been putting out a teal pumpkin and providing allergy safe treats for the kiddos for years. Nice to see Disney support this, as the kids with food allergies can have a tough time at Halloween.
Because maybe he’s a ghost for Halloween?
My first thought is that they just inverted the original colors to get the new colors.
