Shanghai Disney Resort reopened in May and recently increased capacity while reducing reservation limits.
Walt Disney World in Florida is celebrating Halloween with some adjustments this year. Shanghai Disney will also create some fall fun with modifications. The China resort will welcome fall with a Foodie Feast and Halloween celebrations, including entertainment and costumes! More details have been released for Shanghai’s Wicked Fun Halloween…including a party and fireworks!
From October 5th through November 1st guests can enjoy the fall decorations, they can trick-or-treat, and wear costumes to the park. Plus, Jack and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas will host a “This is Halloween” dance party. And, Coco’s Miguel will invite guests for a singalong from October 12 through November 8. Much like Disney World, Shanghai will also host Halloween Character Cavalcades.
Unlike Disney World, Shanghai will hold a two-day Halloween party on October 30th and 31st. The “immersive Halloween experience” will be complete with character encounters, dance parties, live music, and special fireworks.
Disney World has canceled the premiere event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and is not currently hosting fireworks at any theme parks. Shanghai Disney will feature both activities, but will most likely be modified to allow for physical distancing and safety measures.
We’ll continue to inform you of event updates and more spooky info!
