Disney has confirmed that the Disney Cruise Line may be the last arm of the company to return.
Earlier this week we reported that the CDC intended to extend the No-Sail Order through the end of October and now the extension is official.
According to the CDC website, the No-Sail Order has been extended through October 31st. If the order does expire at the end of the month, it could result in the monumental return of cruising in the aftermath of the global health crisis.
Still, Disney Cruise Line has already suspended all cruises through mid-December, so if the order expires prior, it does not necessarily mean a return to cruising for the Walt Disney Company.
The government and health recommendations around sailing are (as we’ve seen!) subject to change, as are Disney’s decisions on sailings. So, as always, stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates.
