Since Disney+ premiered, we’ve been treated to all kinds of incredible content like The Mandalorian, The Imagineering Story, Howard: The Howard Ashman Story, and so much more.

But, the fun isn’t over yet! There are TONS of new shows, movies, shorts, and documentaries coming soon to Disney+. 

Here’s our list of some of the BIGGEST content coming soon:

1. Season 2 of The Mandalorian

We’ve been preparing for Season 2 of The Mandalorian by stocking up on Baby Yoda shoulder plushes, shirts, and toys, OH and that CRAZY Baby Yoda mask too! Season 2 of The Mandalorian will premiere on October 30th, and we couldn’t be more excited!

What will Baby Yoda eat? Where will he go? How many more crazy cool action sequences will we see? What awesome new catchphrases will we learn? We’re here for ALL of it! Need more Mandalorian merchandise? Check out these new items available for preorder online. This is the way.

2. Once Upon a Snowman

If you’re a Disney Animation fan and the cold never bothered you anyway, then get excited because a new Frozen shirt is coming to Disney+ centered around our favorite snowman, Olaf! Once Upon a Snowman will premiere on Disney+ on October 23rd.

According to the Disney+ website, “The film follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle.” We’re really interested to see what this short adds to Olaf’s backstory and that gap of time between his creation and when Anna and Kristoff find him.

3. The Right Stuff

If you’re looking to go to space, just not with the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda, then you may want to check out National Geographic’s new show The Right Stuff when it premieres on Disney+ October 9th.

This show is adapted from Tom Wolfe’s nonfiction bestseller of the same name and is based on the U.S. space program in its early years and the historical “space race.” The show’s tagline is “To carve their place in the world, they’ll have to leave it.” It sounds incredibly compelling!

4. WandaVision

Marvel fans, you’re not left out of all the Disney+ fun! WandaVision, a series centered around Marvel superheroes Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff and Vision, will be premiering on Disney+ in late 2020.

According to Disney, Wanda and Vision are “two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives” who “begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.” The series appears to mix classic television with the action and excitement from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’re excited to learn more about some of our favorite heroes soon!

5. Black Beauty

If you were the crazy horse girl in your school, we TOTALLY get you. Some of us may or may not have been obsessed with horse-related tv shows and had ALL the horse toys and video games (Barbie Riding Club anyone?). Anyway, whether you’re a crazy horse fan or are just looking for an emotional, compelling story, you’ll be happy to know that a Black Beauty original film will be coming to Disney+ this year.

We don’t have an official release date yet, but we’ll definitely be on the lookout for one! In the meantime, we’ll go out and stock up on tissues — we have a feeling this one’s going to be a real tear-jerker, but in the best way possible!

6. Secret Society of Second-Born Royals

If you’re looking for something a bit less serious, that mixes royalty with superpowers, then you may want to check out Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, which will actually be released on Disney+ on September 25th.

If you’re a middle child or second-born, you’ll probably feel this movie on a whole other level. Secret Society of Second-Born Royals follows the story of a princess who is second in line for the throne and learns there is an entire alliance of second-born royalty who secretly saves the world. And the best part? Our rebellious princess has superpowers! It sounds like a fun movie that will be great for the whole family.

Honorable Mentions

We wanted to throw out some honorable mentions for more awesome content coming to Disney+ soon. First, there’s Marvel’s 616. 

According to Marvel’s website, the series will “cover topics including Marvel’s world-spanning artists, the trailblazing women of Marvel Comics, discovering the ‘forgotten’ characters of Marvel, and much more.” Sounds like a superhero fan’s dream come true!

If you LOVE animal documentaries, then you’ll want to check out the National Geographic series Meet the Chimps, which will be released on Disney+ on October 16th. You’ll get a look at the lives of hundreds of chimpanzees in a refuge known as “Chimp Haven.”

Finally, Clouds will be released on Disney+ October 16th. This film is based on 17-year-old Zach Sobiech, who, while suffering from cancer, became a YouTube sensation in 2012 with his song “Clouds.”

This one looks like it’s going to be another one we’ll need the tissue box for!
