FINALLY! All of the booths at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival are open…unless Disney surprises us with a few more!
Today, the final pieces of the festival fell into place when The Donut Box and Cool Wash opened in Future World. Of course, that means it’s time to review some eats and treats so let’s get going!
Here’s a sneak peek of the kind of treats we’re going to snacking on at The Donut Box. We can’t WAIT to tell you what we thought. Let’s dive in!
Menu
Here’s a look at the menu for The Donut Box. We’ll be dining on several different donut varieties and sipping on some sweet drinks.

Let’s start with the food!

We were surprised that these donuts weren’t the sweetest of the bunch. The chocolate drizzle adds most of the sweetness so we were pleased that it wasn’t too over the top.
Next up we swung for the super colorful Sprinkle Burst Donut Holes with Purple Drizzle for $4. Our drizzle was more blue than purple, but they were still SUPER cute.
This option would be great for kiddos! It’s got a funfetti-type batter for the dough. The icing is super sugary and colorful so it makes for a really fun bite.
And finally, our favorite of the donut hole options was the Apple Fritter Donut Holes with Salted Maple Drizzle for $4. Apple AND maple? That’s fall in your mouth!
Like we said, this one was definitely our favorite donut of the day. It had a lot of apple taste with nice chunks of apple in the actual dough. We loved the cinnamon notes too! Texturally it was soft and warm on the inside with a good crunch on the outside. A real winner!
Beverages
Movin’ on to the drinks! There’s a Strawberry Smoothie available for $5. This sip was nice and creamy and had a lot of real strawberry flavors. It’s very refreshing!
The beer option at this booth is the First Magnitude Brewing Monarch Milk Stout for $4.50/6oz or $8.50/12oz. This super unique beer kind of reminded us of a Guinness mixed with coffee. If that’s your thing, this might be the option for you!
And finally, the most exciting drink option is the Black and White Coffee Cocktail Garnished with a Donut Hole (it looks a little different than it did last year) for $14. If you like coffee cocktails, this is a pretty classic example. It’s very sweet and creamy with a good punch of coffee flavor.
Overall, we were pretty darn happy with this year’s offerings at The Donut Box and you will be too if you like fried dough! Who doesn’t?
