EPCOT’s Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival has been in full swing since mid-July, but we aren’t quite done with reviewing NEW festival arrivals!

We made a “pit stop” to Cool Wash today to sip on all things slushies! The booth made its triumphant return to the festival today after debuting last year, much to our delight!

While the Food and Wine Festival is often known for its unique, one-of-a-kind dishes inspired by countries all around the globe, it ALSO features menu items that are super fun for the sake of just being fun!

When we arrived at Cool Wash, we noticed that thee socially distanced queue extends around the planters if they need the additional space.

They didn’t need all that space when we visited today and we walked right up to order!

If you love slushies, we would wager that you’ll love Cool Wash, too.

For slushy flavors, you can choose from Wild Cherry, Blue Raspberry, and Coca Cola.

They also have dispensers ready to go to offer Orange and Pineapple flavors, but those were not available when we visited today.

Once you choose your flavor, it’s time to pick your toppings! You can choose from Nerds, Swedish Fish, Pop Rocks, and Gum Drops. You can pick as many of these toppings as you would like!

We ordered the Blue Raspberry flavor with Nerds and Pop Rocks for toppings. Even the cup that it’s served in is funky and unique!

Pop Rocks are definitely not for everyone, but we happen to love them! Fans of Pop Rocks will be delighted to hear that if you choose them as one of your toppings, you’re given an entire bag!

The slushies are a super fun and customizable treat! It’s basically a candy lover’s delight. But we didn’t stop there!

We also ordered the Rum and Frozen Coke (topped with Swedish Fish, of course!).

This adults-only beverage is a mixture of frozen Coca-Cola with St. Petersburg Distillery Oak and Palm Spiced Rum. Unfortunately, ours didn’t stay frozen for long (it’s still quite hot here in Central Florida).

Still, it was VERY tasty and for those wondering, it was a GENEROUS pour. So fair warning: it may be tempting to guzzle this before it melts, but do so at your own peril, or you may find yourself with a “brain freeze!”

Overall, Cool Wash is a refreshing option for the whole family on a hot Florida day!
