Disney World is always changing, evolving, and growing — even more so lately due to the global health crisis. Although we’ve seen some of our favorite attractions and entertainment returning, some are going away forever.
Live entertainment has also changed throughout the Disney World resort, and we recently learned we’ll soon have to say goodbye to Disney’s Grand Floridian Society Orchestra.
The Grand Floridian Society Orchestra has been playing at the parks for 32 years, both at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as members of The Disney Society Orchestra. However, the orchestra will be playing their final show today, October 3rd.
However, you don’t have to go to Disney World to catch the final performance of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra. The talented group of musicians will livestream their final two performances today. The first is at 2:30PM EST and can be watched live on Facebook. The second is at 6PM EST and can be viewed live on YouTube below:
The orchestra has been a staple at Disney World for a long time, and we would like to thank them for bringing their magical music to the Disney experience for so so long. We’ll be tuning in today to bid farewell to these wonderful musicians.
We’re consistently paying attention to all the changes currently happening with entertainment at Disney World, so stay tuned for updates.
