Several attractions in Disney’s Hollywood Studios have received new distancing stickers for their queues — including an attraction that is currently closed!
Upcoming changes to the operating hours at several quick service locations aren’t the only updates we noticed at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Today, we spotted new distancing stickers in the queues for two of the park’s attractions!
While walking past Voyage of The Little Mermaid, we spotted an interesting addition to this attraction’s queue. While the show has not been operating since the park reopened, we noticed that there are now social distancing markers in the queue for the attraction.
We spoke with a Cast Member who confirmed that the distancing markers were added last night.
This attraction still has not received a reopening date, but we’ll continue to keep an eye out for any announcements from Disney!
And Voyage of The Little Mermaid wasn’t the only attraction with new distancing markers outside the queue. Additional markers have also been added for the Slinky Dog Dash queue, and they stretch all the way back to Animation Courtyard!
These markers were also added last night. The Cast Member told us that they were needed this morning when the line for Slinky Dog Dash was at its longest, so these new markers are already getting some use!
Later today, we’ll be checking out the final performance of the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra so stay tuned for more coverage from Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

SOHIO says
Even with reduced capacity in the parks the lines get long, I can’t wait for fast passes to start back up. We waited 75 and 90 minutes for Mickey’s Runaway. We have been at the parks twice since reopening and HS lines are much shorter in the evening but during the day they are long, even typical no wait lines are long. Last time we went to HS even at closing when they stopped the line Mickey’s was at 90 minutes. IDK if we will be going back again anytime soon, thinking of canceling or reservations for Nov. because with no dinning plan, no fast pass and the dreaded mask mandate its just not as much fun as it should be. I can handle the mask if I didn’t need to wait in line for over an hour for most rides.
