We are planning for a mid-December trip and have our park entry reservations in place, but we are rethinking the weekend plans for doing MK on Saturday and Sunday – seems like we might change that based on wait times for both rides and lines for food/shopping etc. that we have seen lately. There is an outside chance we may cancel the trip altogether if it seems too crowded and (based on some recent posts on social media) the overall experience is likely to be somewhat miserable, along with the obvious Covid concerns – we can use the money to go somewhere else and delay WDW for a while til this settles out. We don’t want to do that, but ~$10k in travel can go a long way towards many other experiences…

I don’t see us spending several thousand dollars on flights, resort, dining, and tickets to stand in line for hours every day. They need to bring back fast pass. Limit it to resort guests and put a cap on the number of times it can be used in a day. There has to be some incentive.

My worry and experience as of late being an advid goer and local is that some people just really don’t care about safety. I’ve been in lines where I’ve had to ask people to please follow the queues because they were so close to me I looked like I was apart of there group. I’ve had one family get upset at me for asking for social distancing and one thought it was funny to pretend to cough on me. Guests don’t follow signs on seats that say not available and have had foreign tourists stand or sit next to me while I tried to have a drink of water, remove their masks and start eating and drinking right next to me and even had someone start vaping, things that wouldn’t have been appropriate before COVID let alone now and had to leave that moment. I’m not sure about disney staff but I do not local grocery stores fear enforcing their safety policies because of recent violent responses from customers, any suggestions?

Matt is absolutely correct! Bring back fast pass. For those who said NO BECAUSE OF PLANNING day soooo far in advance – guess what – now u r planning (reserving) which days go to which park!!!!

I think they should bring back the fast pass at the park. That eliminates anyone who ends up for whatever reason not going to the park on that day or arriving later than planned. The lines seemed much lower when the fast pass was done that way as those who made those reservations just to get fast pass could not do it!
