Earlier this year, Annual Passholders were given the opportunity to extend or cancel their passes.
If you are an Annual Passholder on a monthly payment plan, you may have already received or may soon be receiving some important information from Disney regarding extensions to your pass.
From what we can tell, this information is only being sent via email to Annual Passholders on the monthly payment plan who have chosen to extend their passes. Specifically, the email asks Passholders to “finalize” the extension of their pass and “confirm the new payment schedule,” by reviewing and signing an amendment to the Annual Pass contract.
In order to do this, you’ll need to
- Link your Annual Pass to your account on My Disney Experience,
- Consent to the use of an electronic signature, and
- Follow the instructions to review and sign the amendment, which will finalize the extension.
When you click the link in the email that leads you to consent to the use of an electronic signature, it’ll bring you to a page where you’ll need to enter your Contract ID and email address.
You’ll then click the appropriate documents to consent to the use of electronic records and signatures.
Finally, you’ll review and sign the amendment to the monthly payment agreement.
It’s very important to note: even if your My Disney Experience account already shows that your Annual Pass has been extended, you MUST sign the amendment by November 1st or your pass extension will be CANCELED.
It seems that through these steps Disney is working to confirm with all Annual Passholders who have decided to extend their passes that they still want to move forward with that extension. So, if this applies to you, be on the lookout for this email from Disney. If you have any questions about this situation, you can call Disney at 888-701-4100.
