It certainly was a nice morning to head into Magic Kingdom today!
Magic Kingdom Entrance
On our way in, we thought that we would take a closer look at the progress with the new 50th-anniversary paint job taking place on the Magic Kingdom entrance sign! Work is certainly coming along and we’re getting excited to see the finished product.
This morning, crews were up on lifts to continue work on the arches. We noticed they had gotten rid of the pretty light blue paint in preparation for the new darker blue and rose gold color palette.

As you can see, they’ve moved on to the second pair of arches. It’s neat to be able to see the transformation happening over a few days! The silver color stands out a bit, but we’re guessing it’s a primer!

We’ll be checking in with the entrance every few days so that we can keep up with progress. Stay tuned if you’re as interested in seeing the finished product as we are!
