If you visit “it’s a small world” over in Disneyland, you’ll find quite a few adorable Disney characters scattered amongst the beautiful singing dolls.

That special element has not made its way over to Disney World, however. The version in Florida at Magic Kingdom only contains those classic looking dolls, but no Disney characters…until recently.
A few days ago, we spotted a rather unique character on “it’s a small world” — Minnie Mouse’s dog, Fifi the Peke!

She was sitting on her little hind legs in the South America room, spending some quality time with the penguins.

A reader later reached out to us and said her daughter had accidentally dropped her Fifi toy while on the ride recently, and she had filed a report with Disney to try and get it back. Our guess is that a Cast Member found Fifi and placed her in the South America room.

But, as we made our way through this same spot today, we noticed that Fifi…was GONE! That’s right folks, it seems Fifi has left the building.
Fifi is Gone!
Did she make it back to her home and get reunited with her human friend? Will we find her in another room or another attraction in the future? Was she just out for a quick treat break? We’re not sure (although we certainly hope she’ll somehow make it back to the little girl who lost her)! If we spot Fifi again or hear of any updates, we’ll definitely let you know!
