“Helllloooooo there!” Name the ride! Okay, okay, we’ll tell you. It’s DINOSAUR!

We’re hanging out with dinos and banshees alike in Animal Kingdom today and we have got updates. Let’s take a look at EVERYTHING new in food and merchandise in Animal Kingdom!

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Nomad Lounge

We started the day at Nomad Lounge to check out the latest on the specials menu. Right now, you can snag Beef Sliders with chipotle aioli and yucca fries, Smoked Pork Ribs with sweet soy glaze and apple-jicama slaw, and Charcuterie of assorted meats and cheeses.

Dawa Bar

Dawa Bar has had limited offerings since the parks reopened but it was back up to being a full-service bar yesterday. And yes, we did get a Bloody Mary.

Zuri’s Sweets Shop

Over in Africa, we swung by Zuri’s Sweets Shop and saw ANOTHER boozy development. Alcoholic Glaciers have returned! For $13, you can get a Frozen Glacier with your choice of vodka, rum, whiskey, or tequila.

Yesterday, they were offering four flavors — Passion Mango, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Lemonade.

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Various Locations

First up for merchandise, we spotted this sign in a few stores around the park. That’s right there’s a DEAL on Halloween Light-up Pumpkin Buckets. You can get them for just $10 when they’re usually $20. 

And they are oh-so-cute! This looks like it would be the perfect Halloween accessory. We’ll be keeping an eye out for this deal elsewhere in Disney World as well!

Riverside Depot

Over at Riverside Depot, we took a gander at the sock selection. Can anyone ever have too many Disney socks? The only new-to-us pair we spotted were these cute Pixar Socks for $14.99. We spot Anger, Lightning McQueen, Rex, and more!

Bonus! There’s a deal going on (which isn’t new per se…we see it OFTEN) where if you buy two pairs of novelty socks, you can get them for $10 each!

Chester and Hester’s Dino-rama

The only other merchandise that caught our eye was over at Chester and Hester’s Dino-rama. Take a look at this new-to-us Stitch Plush for $19.99. Stitch is cute usually, but somehow he’s even cuter with this plush? What’s up with that?
