As you might have heard, Disney is set to sail a BRAND NEW cruise ship in 2022.
The Disney Wish, though delayed, will set sail as the biggest Disney Cruise ship yet. In preparation, Disney Cruise Line is recategorizing staterooms on all four existing ships so that there is a uniform system throughout the fleet.
According to the Disney Cruise Line website, we can expect some changes to the way staterooms are classified in 2022. The categories for the different rooms will change to make the system match up on the ships and easier to understand from a guest perspective.
For instance, the Royal Stateroom might go from being a Category T room to a Category 1A room. These changes are listed in each stateroom’s description when you book. The rooms themselves will not see any changes, but it should be easier to compare staterooms across the fleet.
We’ll be keeping a close eye out for more updates from Disney Cruise Line as we wait for the ships to sail again. Stay tuned!

It is what it is… tell me about any new features, what are the dining room themes, then we decide what to call where I am staying. I have always been on deck 9 or 10 w/veranda. I just can’t wait to get on board. I sailed on the Magic in 98 on its maiden voyage year… nothing but great memories on DCL….
