In essence, Disney Springs is a theme park where the attractions are delicious food and awesome merchandise. All wallets should beware of the magical and dangerous effects of stepping into Disney Springs.
If you’re looking for unique eats and drinks, Disney Springs has got a TON of options for you. Now, one spot in particular is offering a NEW experience that tea drinkers won’t want to miss out on!
Calling all tea fans (coffee drinkers, this is not the post for you)! The Spice & Tea Exchange, which is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, is a fun spot that according to the Disney website, “carries over 140 spices, more than 80 exclusive hand-mixed blends, dozens of teas, 20-plus sugars, and a variety of salts from around the world.”
If you’ve ever stepped inside of this shop, you’ve likely been enticed by the delicious smell of a unique tea, salt, or sugar, and maybe even bought a few to try at home. There are so many unique options!
Well, now there’s a brand new offering available at this shop — a fantastic Tea Bar! For those of you who love tea, you’ve officially found your new must-try spot!
A huge thank you to our reader Miles Derwick (@MDerwick via Instagram), who is an employee at The Spice and Tea Exchange, and gave us more details about their operation. Miles says the spot is waiting to finalize a few final details before they can start actually selling their drinks. So, for now, they’re just giving out samples.
When we visited, there were three iced teas and 2 hot tea varieties available to try.
Here’s a look at the ingredients and flavors of the Berry Bouquet Herbal Tea…
…Earl Grey Creme Tea…
…and White Tropical Tea.
They all sound amazing. We tried the Berry Bouquet and White Tropical and both were very good!
Miles shared that during phase 1 of the Tea Bar’s opening, they will offer 3 cold teas and 3 hot teas to choose from.
Once the tea bar reaches phase 2, guests will actually be allowed to pick what tea they’d like brewed for them from some of the MANY options available in the store!
WOW. We wouldn’t even know where to begin! But, we’re sure the employees will be great guides into the world of tea.
There’s also a rewards card available that will allow you to get your 10th tea for free! We love a good customer rewards program.
Miles also shared that The Spice and Tea Exchange will be getting a custom spice blending station in addition to the Tea Bar, where the employees will mix unique spice blends right in front of the guests.
We can’t wait to see all the work that goes into making these delicious creations. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates about this spot and definitely let you know what new things we spot!
