There are a few attractions coming to EPCOT that we’re excited about, but the most imminent is Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

This France Pavilion attraction was originally supposed to open in Summer 2020 but was pushed back due to the global health crisis. Now, the opening is unknown but it looks like Imagineers are applying finishing touches to the exterior theming elements!

Thanks to Imagineer Zach Riddley, we’re getting a sneak peek at a very BIG step in the process of finishing Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Voila! It’s a look at the attraction marquee coming to the ride building!

Riddley notes, “This original sculpture is the result of a creative collaboration between Pixar and Imagineering artisans, and features Chef Remy surrounded by one of his favorite things — food! This photo captures the critical moment in the marquee’s creation as gold leaf is applied by hand, bringing shimmer and detail to one of our last finishing touches to the exterior of the attraction.”

WOW! Did you know this marquee is going to light up with over 200 individual light bulbs? We’re super excited to see the final product and we’re certainly hopeful that this means we’re closing in on getting to scurry around the kitchen alongside Remy. Stay tuned for updates!
