Once a great place to have an afternoon tea party, the Crescent Solarium has always been a nice oasis at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

However, after the Beach Club Resort reopened, the solarium remained closed. But we were there today, and noticed that it’s now officially open again!

Although there are no signs of the afternoon tea returning there any time soon, the Crescent Solarium was open to guests who wanted an indoor place to relax, catch their breath, and just chill.

All seating areas are set apart from each other to meet physical distancing guidelines.

There are even tables and chairs by the windows where guests can sit and enjoy a quick snack in peace.

There are lots of comfy couches and chairs where guests can unwind and take a load off after a long day at the theme parks.

While technically, the Crescent Solarium isn’t an actual solarium because it isn’t made out of glass, it’s still a happy and sunny place to kick back at the Beach Club Resort. We are glad Disney has decided to offer this oasis to its guests once again. As more places in Disney World begin to reopen, we’ll keep you updated!
