Halloween is just around the corner and Disney is finding creative ways to celebrate without Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Although there is spooky Halloween fun happening all over Disney World, a Disney Cast Member shared that the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds will be under a phase 2 closure on October 31st.
After speaking with a Cast Member, we were told that the resort would be under phase 2 closures meaning that nobody except Fort Wilderness Resort guests are allowed access to the resort. They described it as a “hard close” to any Disney guests not staying at Fort Wilderness for the night of Halloween.
There are some activities you can book a reservation for at Fort Wilderness such as pony rides and horseback riding, but the Cast Member said there are no exceptions to this closure. If you were planning to do one of these activities but are staying at a different resort, book your reservation for another day of your trip as you will not be allowed in.
As far as we know, this is only for Halloween and then the resort will open back up to other guests. If this changes or we get any updates on this closure, we will let you know as soon as possible.
