There are quite a few construction projects going on around Disney World, and we’ve been keeping an eye on all of them, including the changes going on to the Magic Kingdom entrance sign.
But now, a NEW construction project has announced that will affect some of the most iconic signs at Walt Disney World!
If you’ve been to Disney World, you’ve surely seen one of the iconic Walt Disney World entrance signs!
Well, much like Cinderella Castle and the Magic Kingdom entrance sign, this spot is about to get a total makeover! Starting TODAY the Walt Disney World entrance signs will be getting a brand new color palette that, as Disney says, will complement Cinderella Castle’s new look.
The picture above is a “first glimpse” of what the new entrances will look like when they’re finished. Disney has noted that these are the same colors that will appear on the new Magic Kingdom Park Auto Plaza sign. According to Disney, this change is “part of the broad tapestry of new experiences happening across Walt Disney World as part of the resort’s historic transformation that includes expansive themed lands like Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, new attractions like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, and new places to stay like Disney’s Riviera Resort.”
We cannot wait to see how the finished signs looks and what other changes start to happen around The Most Magical Place on Earth, particularly as the Resort starts revealing more details ahead of the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World! We will definitely keep an eye out for more updates and let you know of any news as construction on the signs, and other projects around Disney World, progresses.

Why do you want to fool with a proven winner. The Entrance signs were a WDW winner on a tradition

The people in charge have too much time on their hands
When Walt Disney World gets back to normal so many things would have changed that it won’t be Walt Didney World any more
Change is good but they have gone overboard

How to keep a job making changes that don’t amount to anything.
Love the old signs, but it seems like everything Walt made is either being changed or destroyed.
