Disney World has been slowly but surely announcing hotel reopening dates.
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Though most of the Disney World villas and hotels have reopened, there are some we’re still waiting on. In fact, there are some that are still closed until further notice! It’s time for a status update!

Open Resort Hotels
When the Disney hotels first opened in June 2020, most Disney Vacation Club locations were the first to return to business. Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was one of these and we even stayed in a room to see how things had changed! Disney’s Contemporary Resort is open overall too!

Boulder Ridge Villas and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge reopened in June 2020 as well. The remainder of the Resort reopened on June 6, 2021 in time for a hoppin’ summer at Disney World!

Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Yacht Club are both completely open!

Disney’s BoardWalk Villas reopened last June, and the rest of the Resort reopened on July 2, 2021.

We took a spin around Disney’s Caribbean Beach when it opened in late July!

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort reopened in October 2020 after the NBA wrapped up their season!

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is open so campers, rejoice!

The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa opened back in June and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has reopened overall since then, too.

While the rest of the Resort remained closed as guests rooms received a Moana-inspired makeover, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opened in June 2020. The remainder of the Resort followed when it reopened on July 19, 2021!

The long-awaited reopening brought with it the reveal of Moana-inspired makeovers to the guest rooms.

More DVC options that have been available include Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa.

And Disney’s Pop Century Resort is one of the Value Resorts currently open to guests.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort followed suit in providing another Value option when it reopened on November 1, 2020.

Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort was originally slated to reopen on February 9, 2021. However, the schedule was pushed back, and the Resort officially reopened on March 22, 2021!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village DID reopen back in June. But the neighboring Jambo House had been closed to guests aside from those booking select rooms with DVC points. But now? The entire Lodge is reopen as of August 26th!

As of September 16, 2021, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort is welcoming guests once again!

Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside reopened on October 14, 2021.

That means — as of late October 2021 — there was only ONE Resort hotel left to reopen…
The Final Hotel Reopening
Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort was originally scheduled to reopen on December 9, 2021. However, in September 2021, Disney announced that the reopening of All-Star Sports had been delayed.
Welcome Back to ALL-STAR-SPORTS!
Disney shared that the reasoning for the closure was so the Sports-themed area could be refreshed at the hotel. But now we are happy to say that All-Star Sports reopened on March 31, 2022! We’re especially excited because this means ALL of Disney World’s resort hotels have now officially reopened following the pandemic closures!

You said the dolphin resort was closed in another post. It’s open. You scared me and a lot of people, I’m sure.
If Boulder Ridge and Copper Creek are open, does that mean you can get into the main resort at WL? Is Roaring Fork open? We have a vacation planned for the anniversary and are currently at Contemporary, but really want WL.
